Summary: One of the BEST turn-based combat strategy games in existence. With an unabashedly Roman flair, Gladius ruled the PS2 for many years. It simply is as fun and addictive as people say. Building a roster of fighters, entering various combat tournaments, managing the leveling of each character--it is loads of fun. The story is decent, easy to get into. The score is incredible. It really makes each encounter--inside or outside an arena--feel like a life or death drama.
Summary: The story line and historical accuracy is slightly off but if you're not a nazi about it, this game is one of the best games EVER. Definitely one of my favorites. Good character development, great strategic battle system, graphics are good for their time, and challenging! I love everything about this game. This is actually the fourth time I've bought it and hopefully the last (moving, sticky-fingered friends, bookshelves "accidentally" falling on it, etc.).
Summary: this game is on xbox & PS2 its a cult classic game, a top 10 fav of all time. easy to play strategy combat, chess battle, swords shields & magic, lots of gladiators, multiple ways to play the game & customize gladiators.
Summary: I used to rent this game when i was a kid! Now i own it and i STILL love it now. This game is perfect combination of Strategy and RPG with great characters and tons of items and skills. One perk i find particularly fun is freedom to customize your team. You get to choose which members to lead you on to victory, and you get to choose each of their skills and even color schemes to your desire.

Summary: Even now this game is one of the best tactical, turn-based RPG of all time. Up there with Final Fantasy Tactics. Story is light, but the battles are very well done, as are the classes and skills. I've put in a few hundred hours over the years, and its been a blast. Glad I bought this a second time, worth every cent because I just don't log that many hours into Ps3 or 360 games.
