Summary: It's always hard to review something purchased for someone else, but this is a perennial favourite with our son, as well as the videos. He loves the silliness and quirky humour of the game, well-translated from the movie franchise.
Summary: Seeing as the game was one of the last to come out for the PS2,you would be mistaken for expecting it to be on par with of the later games but no,it would be deemed average if it was released when the console was at it's peak.
Summary: My son already has this game on the PS3. He has played the PS3 one relentlessly. I decided to try this one out so that he could have it in his bedroom. I was really surprised how good it was compared to the PS3. There really wasn't too great a difference.
Summary: If you're a fan of the movies, then there is fun to be had here, especially given that all of the main cast are supplying the voices. The story too is nicely linked to the movies. But - the gameplay isn't great, and its one of the more buggier games I've played on the PS2 in many years.
Summary: This is a great game, i've completed 70% of it and the game time is over 8 hrs, the graphics are above average and the gameplay and story line are very good (despite the fact that catching ghosts can be slightly repetitive) I would easily recommend this to a friend.
The PS2 version of Ghostbusters the video game should have been better than it is. There's no real need for it to be, on balance, just average. And, if the game were not blighted in two particular areas, it would be above average at least - once you get u, Sofa Cinema
Summary: This game was fun when we started playing it, with a good soundtrack and good graphics. However, after just 10 minutes it started to freeze and wouldn't continue. Needless to say this was very annoying and I have since returned the game.
