DISAPPOINTING

NPMusicman, Amazon
20 June 2005
  • Summary: This game is garbage. I can't believe I thought it would actually be good and I bought it, but that's just my own stupidity. Half the songs on here could be replaced by much better, classic rap songs. The game is terrible at judging the words you say and even if you're on beat or not.

  • Summary: Get On Da Mic is the hip-hop version of Karaoke Revolution, just with too many faults. When I first rented the game, I thought it would be an excellent game, fulfilling the dreams of upcoming rap stars.

A Rappin' Great Time - Party Game

Big Daddy Bob, Amazon
8 October 2004
  • Summary: Just had to pick this up when I saw the song list...it's got All the heavies, Dre, Tupac, Biggie, Snoop, Missy, on and on. The game did a decent job of scoring your performance, while it can't figure out which word you're saying (neither can Karaoke Rev.

Don't Be Fooled!

The Jaded Gamer "Mike", Amazon
6 October 2004
  • Summary: The idea of rapping along with famous people appealed to me since I first heard of this game. Now that I've bought it I'm feeling buyer's remorse to the max. I like rap as much as the next guy, but after 2 and a half hours I have seen everything this game has to offer.

buffy1986, Ciao
12 November 2005
  • Excerpt: This game had so much potential to be great - I think it failed to be a success like Singstar.. I saw this when I was looking for a new computer and I thought it looked really cool - it was on a display shelf in a box, displayed at the front of the shop on a tower of boxes full of Get On Da Mic (I...
