List All 2 Pricesis for those amongst us who love strategic and realistic action; don't expect a FPS. Despite some lack of variation in gameplay, the basic concept is good and thanks to the authentic graphics and excellent sound, the realism of the game will be able to interest you for some time. Sadly, the game is too short and too easy and lacks the most fun part of the Xbox version; the Army-mode. When you want to try this out and have both consoles, make sure to buy the Xbox version. Jak X: Combat Racing is one of those games that I would just call just plain fun. I enjoyed my experience with this game, and although it may not have any overwhelming features, the game has enough that will truly keep you occupied for quite sometime. If you enjoyed the Jak series or just racing in general, it would be a shame if you didn’t give this game a shot. It has great racing mechanics and just an overall fun gameplay engine that will keep people coming back for... Read more
Graphically it is clear why FSW wasn't a Sony exclusive instead of an Xbox one. On Microsoft's machine the game looks amazing, runs smoothly and lighting is excellent. On the Playstation 2 I can only describe it as 'bitty' - not in the Little Britain sense - just that it doesn't feel complete, like the game has been stripped down. The PS2 struggles with the lighting, so much so that the whole game seems to be under a sort of haze. It is often very difficult to make out... Read more
Ultimately, Full Spectrum Warrior is a polished but soulless game - it began life as an army training simulator and while the transferral to commercial videogame has been impressive, it nonetheless leaves you feeling unsatisfied. Despite its unique approach the action is by the numbers and, although accessible, it's not involving - wannabe army cadets should get a blast out of it, but everyone else should approach with care. Let's hope the forthcoming sequel will address... Read more
War themed games tend to be a dime a dozen. To set oneself out in the genre, developers have to take a different perspective on the warfield. Most third person shooters tend to try and make the gamer feel as though they're one man waging a war in the heart of a battlefield. With Full Spectrum Warrior , the player is given the feel of a field commander watching the battle through an observer's eyes. Rather than pulling the trigger, players are given command over squads of... Read more
This game is so much fun! You are in command of two squads of elite military soldiers and you command them to move, shoot and cover through relistic war zones throughout the game. At first you HAVE to do about five training missions to go on to the main campaign which is a bit of a downer but the game more than makes up for it with its realism. You almost feel like your actually there commanding them! Although you cant actually aim and shoot at enemies yourself the way... Read more
