Excerpt: Combining genres is something that is very difficult to do in any entertainment medium, especially the video games industry. While the very process of combining gameplay styles is a difficult process, it's hard to predict what is going to and not going to work. With this knowledge I would like to give my respect to Black Ops for trying to combine fighting games with first person shooters in their new game Fugitive Hunter.
Excerpt: Fugitive Hunter is an FPS that challenges the player to hunt fugitives, which is probably why they named it Fugitive Hunter. The game attempts to capitalize on the universal popularity of first-person shooters and the notorious reputations of real life criminals and terrorists. According to the game’s exaggerated making-of featurettes, quite a lot of research went into its creation.
Excerpt: Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror, is a terribly crafted FPS by any gameplay standard: horribly bland graphics, lame and choppy gameplay, the list goes on. In short, this swill isn't worth playing if you get it for free. From a rhetorical standpoint, Fugitive Hunter is propaganda of the worst sort, and reeks of McCarthy-era brutality and ignorance.
