Summary: One of my favorite games from my collection. Hours of gameplay, great graphics, voiceovers, music, and I love the huge variety of wanzer parts and weapons. The customizing system takes some time getting used to, and some of the best parts can only be won through simulator missions, but it's definitely worth picking up if you like RPG's or mech-combat games.
Summary: Front Mission 4 introduces a futuristic battle inter phase set in modern times. This game is tactical warfare with robotic warriors called Wanzers. In a wanzer the player can order the team to attack the enemy. Front Mission 4 has a great storyline for all of those players who enjoy a nice story. The action is fantastic, the team all in wanzers blasting bullet holes through other wanzers. The action is intense, the story is great.
Summary: If you like strategy and mecha, or in other words, are familiar with Battletech in any way, you will definitely enjoy this game. Easy to get the hang of, and very addictive. Great campaign and story as well. Give it a try!
Summary: Front Mission4 is really a great strategy game. If you like war strategy, this is a great title for your collection. The graphics and animations look very smooth and the gameplay is addicting. The game starts with a very easy difficulty, which is increasing through the game. Ideal for all importers also as the game's voices are in English - and so are all text menus, You will just miss a bit of the story where no voice acting is supported. Go ahead, you won't do wrong.
Summary: This is my first Front Mission game, so I was interested to see how well this series caters for newcomers. SquareEnix have done a great job with presentation - in-game music and introductory movies are of the best quality. The game's early missions allow you to get to learn the basics - and there is even a special training you can revisit.
Summary: There seems to be a lack of decent strategy games for the current consoles. Well at least Front Mission 4 fills that hole a little bit. Graphics, 3.5. The overhead view of the battlefields are nothing spectacular but get the job done. The one on one (or 4 on 1) matches between mechs (wanzers) are the better part but kind of slow paced. The CG intro movie is pretty cool though. The graphical end is more for functionality than flashy theatrics mostly. Sound, ehh 3.5.
