Excerpt: "Being an avid fan of formula one since the mid 90’s, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this game after owning older versions of formula one games. After putting in the disc and waiting for the game to load you are asked to create a profile. You are greeted with a very simple easy to navigate menu allowing you to choose what type of racing and settings you would like. Settings: AI – easy to hard Difficulty – easy to hard Abs – on or off Weather – ...
Pros: Great gameplay, realistic, wide range of options
Summary: I doubt there is much more you can ask from a Formula One game. It even has the podium celebration scene! The only criticism could be that the tracks can someimes look a little dull. Apart from that, it's ace!
Summary: OK, Gran Turismo is a good driving game and so is Need For Speed. But hardly any other driving game gets better than this. What makes it so good is that not only can you race for yourself, you can make up your own F1 race and even better chose where the cars go. I have not yet won the World Championship yet but I have won the Arcade Championship. You can also win Time Attacks and (probably the most boring) single races.
Summary: The 2003 game is better than last year's 2002 version. It has the line up for the brand new season 2003. Hopefully will Coulthard or Montoya beat world champion Michael Schumacher!! In this game you can test out all of the cars of the new season!!! Or take time out to watch your own race! It has the new modifications for France and Hungary and thank goodness the old overrated fellows (Massa and the Japanese guy Sato) are out.
Summary: I like Formula One 2002 but Formula One 2003 is much better despite the facts that like 2002 there's no cigarette sponsors when there's supposed to be and the cars look a bit different from what they really look like! The Sauber car is supposed to have it's numbers 9 and 10 on the nose of it but it's a good game.
Summary: There seems to be quite a mix of reviews for this game depending on whether people are looking for an arcade game or a simulation. In simulation mode, this game is great fun. I found it very difficult at first to get around the circuits without the odd wheel on the grass and the occasional resulting spin. After a few days of practise I am able to hit the podium but have not yet got a first place. The simulation is not 100% accurate.
Summary: Listen to me. i was reading a customer review of formula one 2003 and i saw one by an xbox fan. It was by marc or some crap like that who reviewed 2004. All i can say is that xbox has crappy games compared to the ones for PS2. The race starts: 5....4....3..2.1. GO! and the xbox sprints away on Ea's F1 2002. but the PS2 takes the lead with formula one 2003. and formula one 2004 is out of the ps2. Ea sports F1 2002 for PS2 has gone out with the xbox version. OH NO!
Summary: This game has to be excellent. mark will not be buying a xbox but i studyed it today. i played on one once. The graphics on Dreamcast look a lot better than any of that boring mark's F1 games. he shall sell formula one 04 now. he won't be buying the original. but i have the original and it's soooooooooo enjoyable. All you fans out there. go for the original. but this is only for pros.
Summary: I have Formula One 2002. which is great. but this is amazing. I have played a 1 track demo of 2004.Graphics: 10/10. An improvement to Formula One 2002. and even better than F1 2004's graphics. Gameplay: 10/10. In Formula One 2003 you can create a very own profile like in Formula One 2002. People like mark who said this game is bad. get off the internet. I shall recommend this game to everyone. BUY IT!
Summary: Formula One has great graphics, and fx sounds but poor tv commentary when you're actually racing but great tv com when watching. Plus this games is much harder and less realistic with a controller, and is much better with the Speedster 3, which is the official liscened steering wheel for the PS2. It's a great value for what it is, it's a beauty!!
