Summary: Absolutely terrific game but it is a very hard game. People who are fans of Silent Hill you might not like this game other hand you might. I am a huge video gamer and horror games are my favourite. The only thing I don't like it when you press the l2 to look into someone's mind. You have to press the left annologue stick and can be a nuisance. Forbidden Siren is my second Siren game I have played Siren Blood Curse for Playstation 3. But in the long run it's an okay game.
SCARIEST GAME IN THE WORLD, but with some problems.

Summary: I had loved this game but it had some flaws for starters the controls are absoulutely stupid, the characters are slow especially when you crouch down to sneak pass an enemy, the game did had a great and disturbing as hell story, bottom line the game is good in some way but had some stupid gameplay.
Excerpt: "...plot and when I received Forbidden Siren I couldn't wait to play this. I was a bit daunted though since I had read from other reviews on the internet that the game controls were problematic. I had a fun fourteen hours worth of gaming on this though. Outline of game's plot (don't worry, there aren't any spoilers): When Hanyuda's villagers perform a religious ceremony to their God, as usual when a horror game is involved, something goes wrong ...
Pros: The shibito, characterisation and graphics .
Cons: Can be hard to play without some kind of a walkthrough, voice acting .
Summary: To anybody considering this game, don't let the wealth of negative reviews put you off. Granted, the voice acting is terrible (you do get used to it) and learning the rules of play is tough, yet the rewards are great. The first 'level' takes some getting used to but once you develop a system you'll be flying. You don't have to be a master of tactics or a gaming wizard (I certainly am not...), you just need logic and a little patience. Nerves of steel help too...
Summary: I finally bought this game last month and I`m enjoying very much. A great game. But it has to be said, this is NOT for casual gamers, its for hard core survival horror fans because its sooooo fiendishly difficult. While I enjoy the challenge this bring I do think, in some places its unfairly difficult. No in-game saves and if ya die and start again from a checkpoint everything you did before that is reset....come on, now thats just being cruel.

Summary: It's just way too hard. I can only get to the third stage, and bearing in mind the first stage is about 30 seconds long and the second stage is the tutorial, that says a lot for the difficulty level of this game. It's a shame, because in terms of atmosphere it's a joy to be a part of. Unfortunately, it's just too frustratingly hard to be a part of it for very long. Plus, the voice acting is rubbish.
Summary: You don't have to be a fan of other Survival Horror Computer Games in order to understand this one, it's a truly Japanese Survival Horror game which means it's not Americanised in any way. The game has an interresting storyline which completes itself only as the game moves on further. On the other hand, the game dubbing is pretty poor but as there is not as much talking as their is gameplay it won't get on your nerves.
Summary: I’m not a wimp or a gaming novice, so its not often I complain that a game is too difficult…but this is exactly how I feel about Forbidden Siren. I was very excited about playing it after seeing advance demos and previews of it, but I was unprepared for the challenge that was ahead of me.
Summary: So the game is difficult. Get over it. Whereas most survival horror games can be completed within a day this cannot quite be tackled so easily. Which is a relief for someone who is tired of shelling out 30 quid for a few hours gameplay. Many reviewers have complained about this fact but what is the point of playing a game that is a breeze?
Summary: I've read reviews where owners have admitted a certain dissapointment with this game. They cry about bland graphics, an over-emphasis on puzzles and the like. As far as I'm concerned the graphics and gameplay here are top-class and a certain innovation has been introduced in the often samey survival-horror genre with a 'sightjack' feature whereby you tune in on the points on view of surrounding enemies. Involving stuff.
