Summary: That's a game I always owned but without a manual and a cover in bad condition. Anyway so I bought it! Now about the game what can I say? There's no other game, NO OTHER, that I can say it really scared me. Fear? Doom? Resident Evil? LOL The graphics were and still are good, the gameplay a LOT frustrating but when you really get used to it and start finding your way you will find it very satisfying.
Summary: Absolutely terrific game but it is a very hard game. People who are fans of Silent Hill you might not like this game other hand you might. I am a huge video gamer and horror games are my favourite. The only thing I don't like it when you press the l2 to look into someone's mind. You have to press the left annologue stick and can be a nuisance. Forbidden Siren is my second Siren game I have played Siren Blood Curse for Playstation 3. But in the long run it's an okay game.
SCARIEST GAME IN THE WORLD, but with some problems.
6 November 2012
Summary: I had loved this game but it had some flaws for starters the controls are absoulutely stupid, the characters are slow especially when you crouch down to sneak pass an enemy, the game did had a great and disturbing as hell story, bottom line the game is good in some way but had some stupid gameplay.
Summary: Since the first time I played Forbidden Siren a couple of years ago it has remained my number one game but the thing is I'm not quite sure why. It has flaws like every game, for example, although the sound in general is excellent, the voice acting is merely adequate and, as has been mentioned in almost every review, this is a difficult game, the difficulty curve is too steep and this probably puts a lot of people off.
Excerpt: "...plot and when I received Forbidden Siren I couldn't wait to play this. I was a bit daunted though since I had read from other reviews on the internet that the game controls were problematic. I had a fun fourteen hours worth of gaming on this though. Outline of game's plot (don't worry, there aren't any spoilers): When Hanyuda's villagers perform a religious ceremony to their God, as usual when a horror game is involved, something goes wrong ...
Pros: The shibito, characterisation and graphics .
Cons: Can be hard to play without some kind of a walkthrough, voice acting .
Summary: To anybody considering this game, don't let the wealth of negative reviews put you off. Granted, the voice acting is terrible (you do get used to it) and learning the rules of play is tough, yet the rewards are great. The first 'level' takes some getting used to but once you develop a system you'll be flying. You don't have to be a master of tactics or a gaming wizard (I certainly am not...), you just need logic and a little patience. Nerves of steel help too...
Summary: I tried at least 5 times to even get started in this game and i just couldn't.I only just managed to do the first level, which wasn't easy. It is impossibly difficult because you don't have enough means to defend yourself, it's very confusing when using the enemy view (yes you know you're being watched but you still don't know where the hell they are!
Summary: I bought Forbidden Siren under the false impression that it would be a game along the lines of Silent Hill. After all, the original creator of Silent Hill was also the creator of this game. Alas, it was not to be. Aside from the environment being similar and the wail of a siren to let the player know something is seriously wrong, they are worlds apart. This is a stealth game, full-stop, with a horror theme.
Summary: I'm a hard core gamer and I have had Forbidden Siren for almost 2 years and I only completed it 4 days ago. It is unbelievable hard,it only takes 2 bullets and your character is dead, in the stages there are little or no clues on what to do, and the Shibito's are fantastic aimers, so once one sees you, you've had it. If you want a game that is scary and that you wont complete in 5 minutes, buy Forbidden Siren.
