Summary: If you're looking for a game to have that has great crashes, awesome gameplay, and EXPLOSIONS. Flatout is the game for you. the best part is the guy in car flies out if you crash hard enough. In the mini games, you launch you driver to play games! BUY IT!!!!
Summary: This game is quite fun at first. But once you get past the novelty of flinging the driver of your car out of the front windshield at high speed you realize there is very little variety in the game and the graphics are sub par
Summary: FlatOut is easily one of my favorite racing games - ever. This includes everything between Midtown Madness to Forza 4. I love realistic racing games although going around the same track over and over just to shave half a second off to rise on the leadboard gets bland after a while. That being said, I don't really enjoy the arcade racers where you smash everything and sparks fly everywhere.
Summary: When I spotted this title on the shelf at Gamestop, I just kind of gave it a "glance over" and moved on, but something kept making me come back to it. I grabbed it, looked at it and thought, "I've never ever played a demolition derby type game"! Why not! Got this bad boy home, fired up the PS2 and loaded it up. Talk about some serious fun, man I was laughing in my seat! I couldn't believe how simple and straight forward the controller commands are, so easy and simple.
Summary: Flatout takes you into a world of carnage and destruction; maybe. The game offers 45 tracks and 16 cars. Flatout 2 has more cars, and possibly more tracks. But of course, the graphics are not the best in the world, only because it is for the PS2. If it had more elements, like more cars, or more derby tracks, then it would make the game better. If you are looking for a good demolition game, with okay graphics, but lots of destruction, this is the game for you.
