Summary: Fun game for the kids, lots of crashes in the derby's. My 8 year old has Autism and he really enjoys the Stunt events. Well worth having for anyone with kids who is tired of them fighting and killing in all the other games.
Summary: I got tired of Pro Street Need for Speed so I bought this on Ebay. I like the fact that you can destroy cars and track obstacles and get rewarded. The next race everything is repaired. Takes a while to get used to the oversteer on the dirt tracks but upgrades and practice help. I think the key is to run one race several times after you get the hang of it to build up cash, then do some upgrades and move on. The only drawback that I find is that you can't save replays.
Summary: My son loves this game, he didn't like the second as well. I don't like the game due to the violence that it has but as long as my son doesn't act out like the game then I would say it is okay for him.
Summary: I am not really interested in video games. I leave that entertainment to my kids but the arcade games in this game are hysterical! Imagine racing your car at top speed down the ramp and then launching the driver in to the air to score a basket in basketball or a goal in soccer. We all just laugh as the guy flies through the air. It sounds morbid but the oversized arenas (imagine a dart board the size of the drive-in movie screen) and funny sound effects are really funny.
Summary: Fun, smash-it-up racin' action. More freedom to drive off track than most driving games. A good amount of items to destroy. Game play is pretty straight forward, upgrades etc. Cars resemble demo derby cars and can be smashed up pretty good, unlike most driving games. Driving dynamics could be better and are a bit frustrating, I would prefer a more realistic approach. Music can be a bit much, some of it is a bit of "scream" rock.
Summary: I do not understand why anyone would really dislike this game, maybe not there favorite, but theres nothin bad about this game. Great attention to detail when it comes to crashes and getting dinged up by other cars. All the game modes are fun(race, derby, stunt) Online play is really fun too, especially if you have a mic. Only bad part is some tracks are the same tracks, just in opposite directions and the cars slide around too much as if you have absoluty no tred.
Summary: I PURCHASED THIS ONE DUE TO ALREADY HAVING PART ONE. IN THIS GAME YOU ARE HARDER TO KNOCK OUT OF THE CAR. GREAT GRAPHICS. GREAT SCENES. THE CHALLENGES GO BOTH WAYS. SOME ARE THE SAME AND SOME ARE HARDER. GOOD GAME OVERALL.
Summary: Oh, come on, you think I am going to say I Hated this game! I had fun with Flatout 2. Simple as that. It has races that are much more destructive than Burnout and is full of great visuals. Everything is good here and for 40 bucks its a good value. If you like destructive racing games you'll love this. It has junk cars, race cars and street cars, all completly destructable. More tracks too. If you liked Flatout 1 you'll love this, otherwise it is at least worth a rental.
