Summary: The box of fireblade seems very catchy to the eye but we all know it's what's on the inside that counts. This is a Midway game and Midway has had it's ups and downs like for example Mortal Combat was a kick [butt] game but then again Kurt Warner left people with a pure bad taste in their gaming...
Summary: I am a sucker for flashy boxes and screen shots. I bought this game last week and was pumped to spend a number of mindless hours blasting things away. I spent about 20 minutes on it and got so upset, it triggered a seizure.
Summary: Graphics are good, controls are good except the sniper needs to be redesinged.I too had the game freeze up on me after completing a difficult mission and had to rerun it.Swarmer missiles, great if you ever got to use 'em.
Summary: I was a bit sceptical having played Thunderstrike and been disappointed. But this is certainly the best chopper game on PS2. It has a feel of the Strike series by EA, but of course updated to full 3d.
Summary: My only reference point for chopper combat games is Thunder Strike: Operation Phoenix which I think is a killer game but I'll try to evaluate FB as a stand alone experience. FB, although high on the entertainment factor, has several ridiculously difficult missions.
Summary: ... I usually dont get [mad] off at games, but i almost threw it out the window. There was no logic to the game. If you like flying around with minimal arms and getting shot at from all directions by tanks that take all your firepower to kill, buy this game.
Summary: Fireblade starts off slow, but does get better as you go.Getting by the 2nd mission in campane 1 leaves a lot to your determination to continue. The sniper shooting is to say the least a boring mission. The thing that really grips me is the glitches that continue as the game progresses.
Summary: The game was good overall, though at times it was harder to understand the controls than flying a fighter aircraft. I probably just need more practice, and patience on it. I liked the different targets, and environments that I was able to fly, and attack. Don't care for the controls to much.
Summary: I was so stoked to get a PS2 helicopter and the review on another website was quite good. Unfortunately, reality set in when I started playing and I realized just how poor this game is. The graphics are lame. The flight simulation is even lamer...
