Summary: Me i buy every FF game i can find on all platforms up til PS2 so i consider myself somewhat a ff expert., an as an expert i highly recommend you buy FF12 if you're a fan of the series. The storyline is pretty weak but the free gameplay , battle system, awesome graphics and extras more than make up for it . You'll probably enjoy the extras and battles more than the story of the game, but this game is definitely a good buy.
It was a very good experience, but can get extremely boring at times....

Summary: Im a huge fan of Final Fantasy and I must admit, this one caught me offgaurd. reason being is that this game pretty much goes where no FF game has gone before; totaly new combat system, new interface, different feel which make this game a great game overall. Though just to clear this out, classic FF fans who enjoy the earlier FFs' the most will most likely not enjoy this title. The combat system is pretty much exactly like an MMORPG.
Summary: FF12 is great rpg with good story, great voice acting... I really enjoy this game from moment I put the disc in. The game is good on terms of roaming around the world, doing hunts, or getting loots from the monsters. But also the game has flaws in some areas. The battle system is like real time and turn base. The problem is when you try to flee the monsters goes full haste and manages to take some HP out of you.
Summary: I know what people have come to expect in a FF game and I normally expect the same thing. A long linear epic storyline with unforgettable characters... well thats not exactly the case here and thats not exactly a bad thing. FFXII strays from the norm with a more action oriented battle system (that was still seemingly turn-based) and a more wide open enviroment to explore at your own pace instead of being pushed from point A to point B which was actually kind of fun.
Summary: If you are looking for a game with a good battle system definitely pick up this title, but if you are looking for a Final Fantasy classic then this game isn't for you. The battle system is unique and it reminds me a lot of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The Licence system is interesting to say the least. Unfortunalty unless you want to spend hours on end grinding, you will always be very short on gil and about 10 levels too low to fight the next boss.
Summary: This is definately one of the Final Fantasy games that deviates from what we've come to expect. With a whole new live action targeting and battle system, this game takes the cake in the "new idea" category. The first thing you will notice when you start this game, is the richer graphics. Thus far in the series, games have a "cartoon-like" quality during regular gameplay, and enhanced graphics were only seen during the cutscences.
Summary: Well i could only give this a 7 in my eyes ,lol.I didnt like the gameplay.Im more into the ffVIII style, the animated magic attacks..I was getting dizzy runing around the enemies..YIYIYI..I didnt think it deserved a 10 as far as graphics...its a bit choppy when moving in the game.I really got frustrated with the fighting ,moving all around while fighting,Too much going on for me.After a battle i felt like i just got done on a sit and spin for 5 minutes..
Summary: This game wasn't like other final fantasy games, which was a dis for me. I loved games like FFX, and others that had the attack by attack system. Yet this game had a way of fighting, that when you went for a target, you had a line to them, meaning you were attacking. You had to then charge to attack again, and it was just weird. If the game would have been attack by attack, I probably would have loved it. Sadly, it wasn't.
