Summary: I had high hopes for this game, but in the end I was disappointed. The combat system does everything for you and the story is very dull for a Final Fantasy game, lacking the epic build up of previous games in the franchise. Also the supposed main character of the game, Vaan spent most of the time in the background while the true main characters discussed the boring politics of the game's world.
Summary: This game is an excellent game for people who love the series. It has a lot of potential. The battles seem to come faster and harder. It also seems like you don't have anything to start with. In other games you do. If you have a lot of time this is a good game for you.
Summary: Amazing graphic compared to all of the final fantasy series that came before this. The musics aren't as great however, none of them are as memorable. They have some of the classic musics in this game however they are only heard in some point of the game. For example, the classic winning battle music is only heard after you beat a boss/mini boss. The battle system was great for it's convenience but it's not something you'll want to do throughout the game.
Excerpt: A year has passed since the events of Final Fantasy XII , and Vaan is now a sky pirate with his best friend Penelo as his navigator. After stumbling upon the legendary floating continent of Lemurés, they must defend it from the evils of the outside world. Square-Enix's Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings for the Nintendo DS forms part of the company's Ivalice Alliance line of Final Fantasy titles, continuing its predecessor's story while featuring a new real-time strategy...
Summary: As I've stated above this is the worst FF game I've played since FF VIII. There are many different reasons. First there's the story that wasn't interesting at all, than there were the main characters like Vaan and Ashe who I didn't care whether they lived or died. Hell by the end of the game I wanted the bad guys to win. Then there's the game play which was terrible, I mean stick to what works.
Summary: I'm not even sure how to start this. I love final fantasy, i've played every game, 1 - 11, and all of the offshoot games, I even played Ehergeiz just so i could fight as Cloud, Vincent, Zack and Tifa. I've enjoyed them all, i honestly have, however i just can't seem to enjoy this game. Strictly from a visual stand point the game IS beautiful. The world that's painted around these characters is stunning, the problem is, i don't care about the characters.
