Final Fantasy is far from a dream...

Matt, amazon.co.uk
30 March 2006
  • Summary: Another installment of what is simply referred to as the best console RPG series ever plunges to a budget price - but is FFX in the same class as its illustrious forefathers? The answer is...not really. Don't get me wrong, it's as jaw-droppingly beautiful a game as you could ever wish to find - Square certainly never shirk in the graphics department - and you'll find yourself constantly amazed by what they've managed to squeeze out of the PS2 chip.

Sorry, Didn't like it.

cc2k, amazon.co.uk
18 January 2006
  • Summary: This is one of the poorest Final Fantasy Games I have evr seen! I think that they concentrated on the graphics too much rather than the fight system and the Storyline. The storyline is for one thing, about the same thing. Kill Sin! Thats all the game is about. I thought it would be as good as FF7 and FF8 in the storyline area. How wrong I was. Sure the Grahics are amazing but sometimes that is not enough to make the game stand out.

FFX vs ATL

Andrew G. Rothschild, Amazon
5 July 2004
  • Summary: No doubt this game has awesome graphics, gives hell lot of fun, after you start it, it is difficult to put down. There are some aspects of the game I dont like, so I had to give two stars for all the irritation I had to go through. * Enemies appear every three/four steps you take. This is irritating. There is no easy way to stop random enemies from appearing. * It seems like I am playing the game as the developer wanted and not as I want to play.

No sense of style

Andrew G. Rothschild, Amazon
5 July 2004
  • Summary: Though the plot is fine and the world complex, FFX just has no style... GRAPHICS The graphics are pretty terrible. They're "realistic" to be sure, but the sense of composition, of light and color and motion that characterizes, say, FFIX is not to be found here. A lot of cutscenes even look more like video than film. MUSIC The score, to me, lacks the gravity/mystery/grace which colors the best FF music (for instance, every note of FF3/6).

Mmmmm... Not sure about this one

  • Summary: I would probably be shot by a maddened bunch of Final Fantasy fans if they ever caught up with me for this review, but here goes ... Firstly, I must expalin that this is the first Final Fantasy game that I have played, therefore I do not have the benefit of understanding what on earth is going on. Nevertheless, I was initially impressed with the graphics and the build-up that the game gives itself in the intro and the initial part of the game-play.

Boring

Amazon
17 June 2003
  • Summary: The game is extremely boring with an unjustifiable number of cut-scenes. There is limited play sandwiched between cut-scenes of 10, 15 and 20 minutes in length, with no way of fast-forwarding through. It is incredibly boring. The gameplay is about 10 - 15 minutes at a stretch and then another long, boring cut-scene. If you like RPGs with constant moving and action, I don't recommend this game. I you can stand the limited play and long cut-scenes. This game is for you.

FinalFantaxy X

Daniel "danieloliveira", amazon.co.uk
17 June 2003
  • Summary: Although I have to agree that graphics are great, etc, etc, I find the game tedious to get through since you are stuck to endless minutes of dialogue between characters. Battle sequences are short and disjointed with all the buttons you have to press in order to select weapons/magic, etc. In hindsight I would not have bought this title no matter what rave reviews it got!

Schneller Versand, jedoch Qualitativ mangelhafte Ware!

Maurice, Amazon
24 April 2014

ricardita, Ciao
28 May 2012
