FIFA 2004 ---- Good n' Bad

Che, Amazon
15 March 2004
  • Summary: FIFA 2004 was better than FIFA 2003 with no doubt. However, there is no World Cup in the tournaments which is pretty weak! EA Sports should add Holland and Japan to the national league. Otherwise, good graphics, alright gameplay, awesome career mode!

Amazon
14 January 2004
  • Summary: Wow, I just bought this game and I have to say it's 10 times better then Fifa 03 and I would rank it right up there now with the Winning 11 series. First off the graphics are MUCH better and smoother. Close ups on the crowd stiull bother me but thats no big deal.

Good but could be better

Jared Grawrock, Amazon
15 December 2003
  • Summary: In another attempt for EA to make a hit with the soccer fans, FIFA 2004 hits the target, but misses the bulls eye. First things first, the gameplay is slow. At first this bothered me and I hated the game.

A Great Leap From Last Year's Poor Effort

Adrian A. Miller "TheGreatAdriano", Amazon
13 December 2003
  • Summary: EA Sports' FIFA Soccer 2004 is an excellent game but could use a few "tweaks" for next year's version. First of all, I enjoy the new Off The Ball Control which allows you to command your teammates movements on the pitch.

FANTASTIC!!

Jason Hatfield, Amazon
8 December 2003
  • Summary: I have loooonged for a decent soccer game on ANY platform. While in Japan, I had the chance to play Winning Eleven 6, and I thought I had found the motherload... until FIFA 2004. Before playing it, I had read several bad reviews, so right off the bat I went in with a low expectation.

  • Summary: Warning to all people who are thinking about buying this game: rent it first. It will save you from further pain... I bought this game mostly because of online play capabilities and what do you know... it is almost impossible to play it online...

Way cool

Patrick Walsh "Karma Konchog Jungney", Amazon
13 November 2003
  • Summary: I got it yesterday. Spent six hours with it. The game is much more realistic now than ever, particularly from the defensive side of things. You can actually produce clean sheets consistently with this, unlike FIFA 2003.

Overzealous improvements

"jjc235", Amazon
6 November 2003
  • Summary: Much props to EA for such a fantastic OVERHAUL of the game- so a large overhaul that they mis judged the level of playability. Heres the breakdown: Pros: -Much improved graphics -Much improved control, approaching the Winning eleven level; I REALLY like Off the ball- give the guy who thought that up...
