Summary: I must say, FIFA 2004 is THE most disappointing game of the FIFA series I've played thus far. Granted, the graphics and gameplay have seen great improvement, but what I cannot comprehend is why FIFA 2004 appears to be going back in time.
Summary: FIFA has always had a more arcade like game-play to it. It's just with fifa 2003 that it's been trying to play more like real soccer. That said, I cant help but notice that FIFA looks like they're scrambling to catch up to Konomi's european WINNING ELEVEN series now that they finally made it...
Summary: Same thing every year with small improvements. This must have ended and it is!!! PES3 on PC smashed EA product in pieces. Until today I had to play Fifa as the best soccer game on PC, but no more...
Summary: After the progress of 2003, this is a big letdown. Let me count the ways: 1. Career mode, which I find a waste of time anyway, is the only way you can play a league. 2. The game speed is far too slow. 3.
Summary: I've owned and played every EA sports Fifa game so far and every year you would expect major improvements over the previous version. The 2003 version was a major disappointment over the 2002 edition which was vastly improved over its prevous edition. So my expectations of 2004 were very high.
Summary: I've never owned a football game before and wanted to buy the best one available, so I got both and gave them a fair run.... PES3 is absolutly brilliant, FIFA in comparison is Poor. Very Poor. Anybody who gives FIFA a 10 or 9 just couldn't have tried PES3. Play both for 2 weeks each.
Summary: i rented this game from blockbusters to play before i buy. well. i'm glad i didnt buy it first time. very disapointing. i wanted to like it but i didnt. the career mode, the setting, the look is very good and how they've made the game.
Summary: I have been a fan of the Fifa games from when they first was introduced to the mega drive all the way to the PS2 i have played all of the EA sports football titles and i can honestly say that this is the worst of the bunch and has failed to continue where they left of with the excellent fifa 2003.
Summary: I read as many customer reviews as I could find on the net and I was still torn between FIFA and PES 3, so I rented both. FIFA 2003 was a huge step forward for the franchise in terms of improved gameplay.

Summary: Okay so FIFA 2004 is in most elements much more realistic than all of its predecessors...but is that a good thing? I played the game for a couple of hours the day I bought it and couldn't have been less impressed.
