Summary: This is one of the best football games i have ever played, and i have played a lot of football games. The thing that really separated this game from any other football game (TIF, PES etc.) is the fact that this really had atmosphere, and the graphics were not even matched until FIFA first appeared on the xbox 360, 4 years later. Quite simply one of the most classic games to have graced the PS2.
Summary: In my opinion, FIFA 2003 has better graphics than all other FIFA titles (including 05' & 06') and better graphics than Winning Eleven. At first, I disliked 2003 but, as I got it used to it, I realized it was because I kept comparing it to 2002 and other past titles. FIFA 2003 is pretty much a different style of play and a whole different game. The players appearance and individual movement are far more realistic than any other game and you are much closer to the action.
Summary: BOUGHT THIS LAST YEAR IN 2003 with World Cup 2002 Korea/Japan (KKOREA FINISHED IN 4th PLACE!) and this game has made some improvements and BAD improvements: Comparing with World cup 2002: NO CHANTS HOWEVER FOR KOREA IS WIN, you can barely make out Daehanminguk but it sounds like Daehangok. The more frustrating thing is that FIFA 2003 graphics and movements is worser than WORLD CUP 2002!
Summary: this game is so awesome. The graphics are unbelievable. It looks like a real game. The gameplay is fantastic, honestly. It is extremely realistic and you have to have skill to score goals. I thought Fifa World Cup 2002 was an awesome game but it had its flaws. One of those was the ridiculous easiness of goal scoring. I was able to win games 10-0 on World Class! You could just dribble straight past people and shoot the ball straight in. This game is much better.
Summary: Fifa has done it. Finally a soccer game where people can't just dribble all the way into scoring position with minimal effort or just keep kicking it down field until it lands on a players foot. Many passes must be made to open up space. My advice, make space create openings and driblle into space, just like they do in real life. Another thing that is great is that you can't pass through a defender. That was way to easy in past fifa's. Think Strategy.
Summary: That's FIFA's philosophy, which for the keen footballer or fan is a must. There has been a new series hitting the US market and it doesn't quite have what FIFA has and will have in the next game: an authentic feeling. To be able to call it a simulation you must first of all have the exact attire that the best of the best wear. This game is presented with a TV-style realism that compliments the upmost detailed football atmosphere.
Summary: this game is an arcade version of soccer. it is fun to play if u like arcade style games, but if you want the real thing play winning eleven 6. winning eleven 6 is from europe, and they know a thing or two more about soccer than the US. winning eleven 6 is the best soccer game for ps2, and possibly the best sports game for ps2 period.
Summary: I have played fifa 97 to 2003. At the beginning of the series is good. But after the winner eleven 5, i changed my mind. I do not understand why fifa always want to change the control system. Maybe EA SPORTS can feel the pressure from winner eleven. Now winner eleven have already passed the fifa, that is what i feel. People said fifa has better graph, sound, real club name and so on. But the most important thing is winner eleven has better control system, and game system.
