a brilliant game

"shilly14", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: i bought this game when it first came out and it didnt disappoint. the player detail and gameplay are fantastic, but it's a shame you can't create or edit players. sadly, i've just bought fifa 2004 which doesn't really live up to the expectations after this game. another minus- it doesn't include some younger players like rooney or christiano ronaldo which is a pain for a man u fan like myself.

Surprising

Chris Adams, amazon.co.uk
10 April 2003
  • Summary: In my oppinion, and i know this is not difficult fifa 2003 is the best fifa ever released. I have never been a fan of the series and expected more of the same old rubbish seen on the previous attempts at a footbal simulation. But this was surprising the graphics were stunning and for the first time ever it was actualy realistic and fun to play. Much more ralistic goals movement and everything you need to get a quality simulation.

EA Games have finally done something right for a change

Chris Adams, amazon.co.uk
18 February 2003
  • Summary: I tell you what, I was so pleased with how this game played, I just never got bored with it. The things I love about this game are the graphics and come to what "masterdoogle" said, when I read his review, the game actually plays football. What's really a boost to this game, is that they have their names on the back of their shirts. This makes the game more realistic in my opinion.

Fifa 2003 Review

MR C R BAUDAINS, amazon.co.uk
29 December 2002
  • Summary: In my opinion, Fifa 2003 is the best football game so far with its many new features and different look. Many new features have been added to the game and there is a new 'In Stadium Atmosphere' and a closer up camera view, which shows how the graphics have hugely improved. With over 16 leagues, 350 official teams and 10,000 players, you can't go wrong with this hugely improved game.

FANTASTIC WELL DONE EA!!!

James Moodie, amazon.co.uk
26 December 2002
  • Summary: This game is a must for all fottie fans. I got a ps2 yesterday with fifa and it was excellent! Even at the end of a match when your 1-0 down all your team come forward. Free kicks are also vastly improved although a little easier than on fifa 2002 to take. I also reccomend club championship mode highly as it features major european stadiums.

Me!Fifa2003! Coming from a software house of EA's reputation

"gthom3", amazon.co.uk
22 November 2002
  • Summary: Yes believe it or not EA have finally woken up to the Konami challenge! After years of producing drivel and basically bringing the same game out year after year they have finally put in some effort! The result... a cracking game! Basically i've been a ISS/Pro Evo convert since 1st playing it on ISS on the N64 before moving on to the better ISS pro evolution games on the PSX. The last Konami game I bought was Pro Evo on the PS2 and have yet to buy their 2nd installment.

its an improvement.

Mr. P. D. Barnes "barneyisourhero", amazon.co.uk
18 November 2002
  • Summary: The launch of the much anticipated fifa 2003 saw what everyone thought was going to be another poor update of a fifa series turn into a much improved highly playable game, that is actually challanging and fun to play. As all previous users of the fifa series know, the game has got some serious problems with graphics, scoring in the game (far too easy and predictable) and problems with players who seem to have minds of their own.

Excellent Game

"helenfromlondon", amazon.co.uk
6 November 2002
  • Summary: This game is brilliant to play, not only with its superb graphics but also the AI has been made to work brilliantly. The way that the computer thinks about things like subsitutions and tactics and the make massive cahnges if they go one goal down etc. THe game is good to play but it takes a bit of getting used to. One of the problems is the shooting, its difficult to master but once you have then you will become unstoppable.
