Summary: Fifa is a very good game for all soccer fans. Easy button combination to perform special moves. The weak side is that after some days of practice you will beat easily all computer teams in the hardest level. It's more challenging to play against a friend.
Summary: When I first played Fifa, I was at my friend's house and I didnt think that I would like it because i never really did like sports games and I hated soccer. So, after a few times through, I began to like it better and I am still not a sports or soccer fan, but this game is awsome.
Summary: i love this game, lots of action, and the game moves quickly. but the problem is that real soccer does not have as much scoring as is in this game. most aspects are very realistic except for the crossing pass. it is way to accurate and the bicycle or scissor kick that is easily made is a bit ridiculous. still a great game to play with friends and run smack at them though.
Summary: I find this game to be very fun to play, but really lacking in the real life FUTBOL part. The computer is unable to stop me from scoring coming up on the wings and crossing the ball for headers and bycicle kicks, even at the World Class level. By the same token, it is almost impossible to stop some player, speacially Rivaldo when playing against Barcelona, from scoring, no matter what you try.
Summary: Although i hav egiven this game 4 stars but still it is a big dissapointment 'cause if we compare this game to the other versions it has nothingh special in it.Also each year EA cut more and more stuff out of the previous games.Guys at EA are saying that they have added realism movements but who cares about realism when the gameplay is poor. Moreover the players seem to have super agility in them and can jump some 13 feet in the air.
Summary: Let me start off by saying that this rating should be at least a 4.5 or higher....I would have set it at a 5 but that is a very rare rating for me to give....so far only one game (NBA Street) has gotten a 5....I proudly own this game and feel it is one of the best games on the PS2.....Some people are saying that EA Sports ... up and made this game bad....thats a bunch of.....first of all, the graphics in this game are top notch and test the ability of the system...
Better than the Rest, but leaves some work for 2002.

Summary: Getting my PS2 on opening day, I spent my first week awe struck by the gameplay, graphics, and authenticity of Madden 2001. But that was just an appetizer for the game I was really waiting for FIFA 2001. As a owner of almost all the FIFA series, I have seen the gameplay graduly improve from kick ball to a clear offensive strategy. Here is what I found when I finally opened it up.
Summary: I have owned every FIFA game from EA and this is certainly the best one yet. EA has utilized the new PS2 format with stunning graphics and smooth gameplay. The pitch looks real, the fans look cleaner, and the players look more realistic. The club team shirts have their sponsor and club patch (also shows the maker 'ie. nike or addidas') I was happy to see that EA did not stay with Julie Foley and the other American commentator and went back to Brits.
Summary: I am disappointed. This game lacks realism. As my players roam the pitch, I am unable to smell the grass, feel the sun (or rain) on my shoulders or even break a sweat. Give me a break. This is a game. The last soccer game i owned was WC'98 for N64 and it was a great game. This one takes it up a notch or two. The graphics are great, the gameplay is very good. It's licensed by FIFA so all of Europe's best teams and players are there.
