Summary: Every year a new fifa comes out I say to myself, I'm not gonna spend 30 bucks on a game that changes very little over time, but every year I end up buying it anyway. This time I really mean it, I'm getting tired of the fifa series ending as a very expensive roster update. Let's face it, the teams pretty much stay the same with one or two major changes, and maybe change the uniforms a little, so that leaves the game being 5% new.
Summary: There are essentially 2 soccer games to choose from every year on PS2: Fifa and the Winning Eleven Series. Fifa is certainly at first look the better option. With the most teams, leagues, and licenses, throw in EA sports domination of the sports video game market, and you would think it's a home run. Well, it's not. After a return from an extended stay in Europe, I was craving some soccer video game action.
Summary: Eve thou this game has great graphics. The game's playability hasn't changed that much during the last years. Its more of an arcade version of football.I being a football fan, have only one word for all the Fifa fans out there. "Winning Eleven" a.k.a proevolucion soccer.
Summary: EA once again did not satisfy me with this one. When i first played it i thought that it was way to unrealistic. the way the players dribble and run is just dissapointing. If you want a real soccer game that has everything but bad gameplay get winning eleven, i agree with the dude that said that winning eleven is better> It will not dissapoint you it plays alot smoother and the ball tends to move more naturally.
Summary: I tried the game and it dissapointed me. It is pretty much the same old game, same goals as always. The game has all the liscences, stadiums, chants...EVERYTHING...but they missed the most important part wich is: SOCCER. The gameplay is not realistic, its robotic. Guys at EA should try Winning Eleven, its more realistic and there are no two "same" goals there.
Excerpt: Every year there is a new Fifa title hitting the shelves, Fifa 07 was one which i again failed to impress me, i played the game only for about a week until the new pro evolution was released, but have gone back to it for games on the multiplayer mode with mates. Gameplay One of the new features of Fifa 07 as with all new games was the 'improved' game play, i couldn't really tell the difference in the gameplay change from any of the Fifas since Fifa 2000.
Summary: First of all i am a pro evolution soccer fan and am currently waiting for PES 6 to be released. So i rented Fifa 07 as ive read a couple of reviews claiming that this game will beat pro evo as the best footy game out. Well from what ive seen this game wouldnt beat pro evo 5 never mind 6!
Summary: I just can not believe and understand as to what have been going on with Fifa football games since 2005. Fifa 2005 was one of the best football games ever developed by EA Sports, but unfortunately they ruined the whole game with the release of Fifa 06 and yet again Fifa 07 is not so much different than that and it is a big disappointment for people expecting some real improvement in game play.
