Summary: This game is simply not in the same class as PRO EVOLUTION. I have a Pro-evolution 5 game , years older than this Fifa 07 and it runs rings around this Fifa 07 game. Vision of the game is way too distant, commentary isn't very reactive to what is happening in the game plus boring, handling of players is hopeless, replays and off sides... what the ???.
Summary: FIFA 07 is the same thing as older versions, the gameplay is too fast which it make it too unrealistic, can score goals from everywhere, if you don't know about the konami's series Winning Eleven or Pro-evolution you should try it, it is the best futbol game ever made.
Summary: I never expected that the game could only be played if you have a broadband and your PS2 is connected to the internet. What a let down for my son when he opened Santa's gift and could not play his most requested game. The game should have an option to play offline but it simple prevents you from playing until you are conected.
Summary: It seems to me that this new installment of FIFA is an improvement on 2006, but that really isn't good enough. Playing FIFA 07 feels to me like a rusty copy of PES 4. EA has seen the success of Pro Evo and wants a slice of it, by stealing their ideas. I think that FIFA has superior music, title screens, season modes and all of the licensed teams is a big plus, but the most important thing is the football.
Summary: I hate EA EA put just 20% of their funding towards their game developers, 50% to advertising, EA is the brand which gets anything popular and trys to make a game out of it. Look a Pro Evo. Made by fans, bought by fans, it was the ULTIMATE football sim, and it was around for just as long as fifa (under the name ISS), so EA try to make a football sim like it, and teir first step is to get ALL the advertising labels and spend the majority og the budget on it.
Summary: Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do yourselves a favour Fifa fans, buy Fifa 06 - its much better, also give Fifa 2005 a go its a great game and dirt cheap now. Ps. Remember those 5 a side indoor games in Fifa 98 RTWC - why doesn't another genius come up with that idea (not to mention the double tap on the shoulder button for an intentional dive!
Summary: I've always been a Pro Evo fan, but their lack of licences has always bugged me, so this season I decided to "change codes" and switch to FIFA. They certainly have all of the licences, the squads seem to be pretty much up to date, and the strips are excellent. But that's where the good news ends. In terms of gameplay, FIFA07 is awful. For a start it is too easy. In my first ever game, in semi-pro mode and without even knowing what the controls were, I won 7-0!
Plagued by graphics slow down and reduced features

Summary: This is a warning. Fifa has been a great game but if the poor implementation of this playstation version exists across all platforms EA are heading for serious trouble. Basically either this game has been badly programmed i.e. has not been written efficiently enough for the platform or the playstation 2 can no longer support it. You be the judge (I'd say it was bad programmers) Here are some examples of where the problems lie.
Summary: i was quite pleased to rent this game after the mad rush on its release day, i dont understand why though. it is a an absolute shocker of game, the frame rate is slow the controls tricky, graphics are below standard the only good aspect of this game is the menu its so simple to use! i was a big fan of fifa football games all the way from fifa international soccer... however this game is awful steer clear.
Summary: Just played 70mins of a game and im putting it back in the box to tak eback to tesco!!! The gameplay hasnt improved from last year its slow and even when the guys are sprinting they dont move that fast! Until last year i was a fifa man and had been for at least 7 years!! but i bought pro evo 5 last year and it was so much better! ok so some of the players aren't named correclty but for gaming its 10x better!
