Summary: If I'd reviewed this game when I first bought it I think I'd have rated it as just one or two stars. Why? It's one of those games where most of the tracks need unlocking, there is only one car to start with (the 430 Challenge) and the handling felt awful. Now, having played Ferrari Challenge and nothing else for a fortnight, I'm really enjoying it.
Summary: When i saw this in the Argos catologue back in February i found it wasn't avalible for ps2 which made me disappointed. But then in July i found Ferrari Challenge in a magazine and there were the words PlayStation 2. I couldn't believe it! And then on my birthday (24 September) I opened Ferrari Challenge and i couldn't believe how great it was! Let's start with the old F355 Challenge. There was only one car you could have and that was the F355.
Excerpt: [Review can now also be found on my website - www.ps2-central.co.uk] As the previous review from D1A1UK suggested that Ferrari 360 Challenge won't ever be released on PS2, he was wrong! It was released 2 or 3 years ago under the name "Ferrari F355 Challenge". This game is the exact port from the arcades. When i played this game in the arcades, I loved it to bits. Now that it has made to the PS2, I still love it.
Excerpt: The PS2 game F360 is not going to be released EVER and this is fact, Acclaim have canned it because they could not get any licensing. So, here's a review on the Dc exclusive F355! OK! At last a decent Arcade game which has been able to obtain full Ferrari blessing - allbeit only the one car - but still, Ferrari must have been pretty impressed with the game. I have seen the arcade pod - Very sleek and very authentic - with 3 screens instead of the usual single screen.
Summary: Servus.
