Very Scary.

  • Summary: One of the scariest games I've ever played. The controls are a bit frustrating, but once you get use to them it's not bad.

Fatal Frame 2 II, SCARY GAME!!!!

aznsmiley117, Amazon

  • Summary: So, I just got into scary games and I heard about Fatal Frame. It's supposed to be like THE SCARIEST game of all time. Well, let me tell you, IT IS! I got scared playing (well, not even playing, watching) the first 5 minutes, in the dark W/ no lights on and surround sound. *side note* I think any horror game MUST be played in: -surround sound -No lights, just darkness -No one around (although, playing w/ friends is fun ^ ^) Getting into the game now, the game is very...

Love it!

  • Summary: This game is personally my favorite. The scare factor on this game isn't the looks of the ghosts, but the tension. The walking in to a room and not knowing what is waiting there for you. I personally like the game, because of the settings. Which are beautiful. There are a few things that annoyed me about the game, first and foremost is Mayu.

To sum it up: Terrifyingly disturbing and Scary

  • Summary: Many games try to be scary, but fail miserably........ Not this one. I am not going to get into the subject of what happens in this game, that is for you to find out. However, I will give you an advisory of what to expect. There are two things that parents may want to hear about before letting their children play. Scariness: Deeply Disturbing, and Scary Situations. Many pop-out at you suprises. If you have seen "The Ring," get ready for a suprise.

THIS GAME IS SCAREY!

Bill.B "Bill", Amazon
5 August 2004
  • Summary: I rated and own Manhunt which I said was the goreiest game. But this game classifies as the scareiest game. I have never been so freaked out by a video game and i'm in high school. This game is great in pretty much every department. First of all it has a hell of a story line and very good gaphics for a game in this type of category. The ghost pop up and disseapear during gameplay freaking you out a little.

An incredible survival-horror game.

Amazon Customer "dora", Amazon
5 May 2004
  • Summary: This is, in my not so humble opinion, one of the best survival-horror games to date. The fixed camera angles cost me my life on more than one occasion, but other than that the controls are all relatively fluid and intuative. The viewfinder mode (a first-person mode used to combat spirits) can be a little confusing at first, and I wasted a lot of film when I first acquired the camera. The plot is incredible in its complexity.

Speechless

The Someday Man, Amazon
12 December 2003
  • Summary: The original Fatal Frame was far and wide THE scariest game I'd ever played. Nothing could have prepared me for Fatal Frame 2. Seriously, this game WILL scare you. I tried playing it in my room alone and had to move my entire gaming system into the living room to continue. It makes you paranoid. If you play this game alone, there's no way you won't feel something in the room with you. Many elements from the movie Ringu are amplified here.

  • Excerpt: "...not tie into the first Fatal Frame. Overall game rating 8.5/10. This is really worth your time. It's the scariest game that I have ever played. The idea of the camera as the weapon is genius. I'm a huge fan of horror and this game certainly tickled my fancy not to mention the puzzles are fairly complicated. This is my own opinion not profession gamer. I just play for fun.(: ...
  • Pros: definatly lots of fun and scares .
  • Cons: It's pretty long .

Simply an Enjoyable Game

casey, Amazon
16 June 2004
  • Summary: Fun and interestingly creepy. You start out in a village haunted with ghosts. You must find a ghost destroying camera that has many upgrades and film types of varying strengths. You and your twin sister are involved in the plot. She is involved in a killing ritual, but how? Can you save her and you? The ghosts are cool and creepy and it's fun to take them down. I hope you enjoy this game too. Don't let it scare you!
