We think the Fantastic 4 lack the instant appeal of other superheroes such as Spider-Man and Batman, whilst it has to be said that all superheroes are a little bit on the daft side, this foursome have abilities such as stretchy arms, invisible powers, brute strength and fireballs amongst them, therefore we think they are the epitome of daft. The recently released movie has spawned this rather enjoyable throwback to brawlers gone by. Read more

Marvel's First Family comes to consoles in a new action title sure to have comic fans shouting, "It's clobberin' time!" Read more

    • Faithful to both the comic and the film; lots of bonus content.
    • Problematic camera angles; gameplay feels repetitive after a while

The game starts with a very good introduction movie which leads you straight into the game. You start by learning about each of the individual characters and what powers they possess as they learn themselves. One by one you complete missions to get all four to find each other and learn the basics of they are capable of. The game starts slowly but gives you enough action to keep you interested and learn the basics. Read more

    • Fun gameplay, Very good graphics, Addictive
    • Some environments are very dark, Not always easy to tell what you are supposed to do next

Although we had some fun with FF it’s difficult to recommend as it has so many minor annoyances, and despite some quality gameplay moments and smart visual effects and nice rendered cut scenes, it fails to impress with some graphical glitches and a general lack of imagination and finesse in the important places. We love our co-op games here at Gamecell, but even so this less than fantastic game means you should probably look for your superhero fix elsewhere. Read more

    • The co-op mode., Nice rendered cut scenes., You get to be, .
    • Graphical glitches., The camera hates you, and doesn’t pan out far enough., It’s rather repetitive., No four player option in a Fantastic, game?

Obviously hardcore Fantastic Four fans will have to settle for this, being it is the only Fantastic Four game for the more-than-foreseeable future. For every other type of gamer, however, Fantastic Four is a very mediocre game, offering nothing you can’t find in some other adventure game. Finding a game much more enjoyable is not hard. Just the other week, I had the pleasure to meet a very recent writer of the Fantastic Four comic, Roberto Aguirre Secasa. Since I hope to write for Marvel myself one day, it was very cool to talk to him and learn a bit more about how things work in the House of Ideas. Read more

Fantastic Four the game is based on the events in the recent film, though some creative liberties have been taken to lengthen the game. The Fantastic Four were at one time normal people, but after an accident in space, they now have super powers. The Invisible Woman can, yes, turn invisible. Mr. Fantastic can stretch his arm to attack enemies from a distance and contort his body, allowing him to reach places others can’t. Read more
