Summary: First off it’s a good game I think this is a highly underrated game yes the voice acting is bad but back in the beginning days of survival horror all voice acting was bad look at RE1-RE2 SH1-SH2 I like that you start with a weapon that a Marine should have which is an M-16 not some random pistol you also get 3 magazines (Clips) which gives you a total of 90 rounds (bullets) you have to constantly find more magazines to increase your ammo count which is more realistic...
Summary: The game will not appeal to many people from its uninspiring storyline, mediocre graphics, and last gen controls. I have played this game before when it first came out before playing any type of Resident Evil game, so i thought differently than most people about this game. The atmosphere is pretty good and the battery conservation for completing tasks are pretty cool, as well as the cool boss battles and their designs.
Summary: It's a short game and the voice acting is not that great, other than that I was surprised by the gameplay. You can crawl, jump and shimmy like a tomb raider game with a go anywhere camera. I call it a resident evil clone with good controls. Monsters are convincing and battles challenging. You have one gun which you attach add-ons. Surprised this one didn't get much attention. I expected a mediocre game but it's actually quite good.
Summary: This video game for the Playstation 2 console, is one of my all time favorite games. This game definitely takes me back to my childhood. I remember receiving this game as a gift from my step-dad when i was 12. He ended up liking the game too. It's not a family game for sure but the intensity of the game itself and having anticipation of what might happen next, makes it a very unique and interesting game to play.
Summary: This game used to sacare the living heck out of me every time I played it. I never beat the game, but I went as far as I could. If I could compare this game to anything, I would say it's like taking resident evil 2 and dead space and mixing them together. I remember the first time I played this, I picked it up at a familyvideo and thought it would be like the average shooter for the ps2....
Summary: This game is decent, especially considering it was not really a mainstream PS2 game. The controls are not the greatest, especially some of the camera angles. With that being said, however, the gameplay was nice and the storyline not too shabby either. This game grew on me. When I first started playing it, my interest was rather low, but over time I grew to enjoy it. The monsters were pretty smart, and the environments pretty creepy.
Summary: Most people that come across this game appear to enjoy it. It is almost like a cross between parasite eve and siphon filter. The graphics are great--there is a reason it was in the top ten list for half of the summer. The gamemakers claimed that they tried to simplify the button control on the game to make it more like an "interactive movie." For the most part, that is true. The "x" button does a lot of the actions.
Summary: It's ah good ole fashion ideal with ah twist. Bug Exterminatore goes marine, sent to a facility to do just that, exterminate some bugs, big, ugly, mutated bugs with a condatious virrus. I found the map of the facility to be small, the camera angles helpful but limited when needed, the storyline to be thrown togather like somekind of pilot for tv, and the graphics were excellent.
Summary: The rest of these reviews pretty much sum up the gaming experience of Extermination, i.e., if you enjoy Resident Evil you will most definitely get into this game. The storyline carries along nicely, the graphics and sound are good, the weapons and battles are cool and the overall atmosphere is creepy with a menacing ambience that sets a great tone. The only quibbles I have is the voice acting (think the first Resident Evil. Yes, it's THAT painful and EXTREMELY laughable.
Summary: At first, I thought the game was so-so, but when you get deeper into the game, it really unfolds to be a good game. The graphics are pretty good, the sound is greatly detailed, and story is not half bad. The game suffers some flaws, but overall, the game is a really good game!
