Excerpt: "***DISCLAIMER*** I have moved over this review from my GameFAQs account where I go by the name ThePreacher. You may have also seen 1 or 2 of my reviews on imdb.com but I just thought I'd give a heads up! Enjoy the review! ***End Disclaimer*** I don't hate this game, but it's not breaking new ground or really doing anything other than just being another horror video game. Ah well, maybe the sequel will be better. Gameplay: Actually ...

Summary: Okay, so as an Evil Dead Videogame, we were never gonna be talking complicated but the simple linear gameplay and lack of innovation stopped this one getting 4 stars. Its a simple 3rd person shooter as you, the hero Ash run about Dearborn town trying to send the Deadites back to hell with a variety of weaponry. And thats about it really.
Summary: I am sorry for being too critical of this game, however this is the best Evil Dead genre video game (which isn't saying much) If it wasn't for Ashe's comic relief, this game would be a torture to play. This game is not easy, and searching around town being attacked every step of the way is just annoying at times. The boss in the museum is difficult but every boss has a weakness that you have to figure out. Only by the time figure it out you're a dead man.
Summary: This game, besed on the films has a good game play and is entertaining all the way. The graphics are not quite as good as other shoot 'em up games but they are good enough to see the zombies exploding into tiny peices. Campbell does and excellent job with the voice overs makeing comedy remarks that will stick in your head.
