Excerpt: Plain. Barren. Empty. I have a thesaurus full of words I could use, but gist of the matter is that E.O.E.: Eve of Extinction is not much too look at. Each of the levels - from the city to the forest, each area is dull and devoid of any charm or style. In fact, it actually detracts from some of the fun of the game. The same goes for the decent, yet dull looking characters.
Excerpt: looked to be a promising departure from the overused action formula. As it turns out, it wasn't, managing to shock us all. Find out what went wrong inside. looked to be one of the more interesting action games in awhile. With its original storyline, and nice looking battle system, it looked to have a lot going for it. Notice that I'm using words in the past tense that correspond to the time period before the game was released.

Nu er det her så endelig. Eidos meget ventede Eve of Extinction. Så mangler vi bare Helena Christensen.
