Excerpt: Eternal Ring, at times, is a very pretty game. The frame rate is constant, and the character and monster animations are nicely done. Too much of the game, though, is fought in tight environs, giving the game an old-school corridor-crawl look.
Excerpt: On looking at the graphics on the back of the case you assume you are buying a good Adventure game. But hold on a minute when you place the cd into the drive and run the game things just dont look as good. The graphics are nice but jerky and the controls are just as bad.
Pros: Some nice graphics in certain places
Cons: Very Repetative game with bad control system
Excerpt: General/Summary: Overall, not a bad RPG game. The graphics are lacking some attention to detail. For example, if your standing next to a stone wall and swing your weapon, it does not produce any sights or sounds indicating you hit the wall.
Excerpt: General/Summary: OK, here's the scoop. If you liked the King's Field series, you're gonna like this game. Don't expect a carbon copy, but the play and concept are very similar. From Software has highly evolved the first-person RPG with Eternal Ring.
Excerpt: I rented this game for a fiver and it was a big waste of my money. The graphics aren't bad but the story doesn't make much sense, and you can't even see the person you are playing. The battles are boring because you only can jab with your sword you can't really swing it.
