Summary: This is a really fun hockey game. Great for a hockey fan, it has almost any jersey from any team in the nhl. It's great. PS: The fighting engine is the best I've seen from any hockey game before.
Summary: While I agree with the previous reviewer on the pubic hair, there's no way you'll get anywhere in this game if you go with jokers like J-Bone or Big Bert -- way too slow. Trust me on this and stick to Kovulchuck or Paul "from Kariya with love." Pick up Legwand in the last round and you're set.
Summary: I never liked hockey or had pubic hair until playing this game. Sick multi player game play. "It's outdated"....just shut up and create Crosby and Ovechkin. I personally like rippin slap shots with Jovanowski (J-Bone). Be aware of the foreign goalie, Anders Jivarp.
Summary: I've owned every hockey game out there. This one I enjoy the most.Just better than EA.EA 06 I can score 20 goals at the top level. It gets boring.I own EA09 PC and rarely get beat except when my goalies are cold.I got bored with EA after 2001 and 2002.I just want something that is a little...
Summary: My brother got this game for ten bucks, and let me say this; it was well wroth it! I'm not a hockey fan, I don't like most sports games, and I'm not a huge video game geek, but I had loads of fun with this game. It's perfect for two player action, really intense.
Summary: This game is really very very good because it has unbelievable graphics and the players look really realistic. The commentary is really good. They follow the game perfectly. There are also a lot of things to do. You can start a season and then play in the playoffs.
Summary: ESPN NHL 2k5 is a good game, but not great. I am a little biased, because I enjoy EA sports games more than the ESPN titles...But due to the fact that NHL 2005 from EA is no different than the 2004 version (which i loved by the way), i was forced into buying ESPN..
Summary: Okay, all in all is this game worth $20? .. Maybe. Is this game the greatest hocky game ever? Definatly not. Lots of little things were left out...how hard would it have been to show who scored the goal afterwards?? I mean come on, that's basic game programming 101.
