Summary: I will start by saying I may have a slight bias for Madden as I've been playing it for years. However, I decided to pick up 2K5 as I've heard good things about it. I had heard good things about 2K2 and was disappointed. Not this time. 2K5 is a great game.
Summary: I'll give a basic Pro/Con rundown of the game's qualities: Pro: - Excellent graphics. - Excellent gameplay. - "The Crib" beats the heck out of Madden Cards. - Similar control configuration to Madden, lessens the learning curve.
Summary: I picked up NFL 2K5 the other day and I'll have to say that I was thouroughly impressed. Skeptical at first due to my dissapointment with NFL 2K2, i had purchased the last two Maddens because of that. For $20, and all the hype this game was getting I couldn't pass it up.
Summary: Forget Cholesterol, Madden's Got a New Nemesis!! Well, I was hesitant to get this game because a couple years ago I bought NFL 2K3, and it was just plain horrible. For $19.99, I decided to try it out. Good move.
Summary: Ok, first......don't believe the hype. Don't get me wrong, this is a very good game, but let's face it.....when you think madden, you think football!!!! of course everyone has their opinion, but I think majority of this praise is based on the price of this game.
Very good football game, flawed by some minor issues...

Summary: Wanting an inexpensive but fun football game for christmas, it should go without saying that I asked for (and got) ESPN NFL 2K5. I was already familiar with ESPN NHL 2K5 (which is an easy five stars), so I figured, can't go wrong here, right? Well, for the most part, nope.
Summary: ESPN NFL 2K5 is a great game in a great series that is second only to madden. It has some great features that EA Sports is wishing they had thought of. These include the Crib which now is easier since you can win points to buy furniture just by making a few touchdowns and winning a game.
Summary: Well actually not anymore as EA owns the NFL video game liscense (as well as the right to the ESPN title) this is a completley unbaised report, i own both games. _____________________ Ok. Espn 2k5 has a slew of features that make if very appealing. the first is the Twenty Dollar pricetag (YES!!).
Summary: I knew I was going to buy this game the instant I heard the price. $19.99 is a great buy and gives you a great NFL experience. After owning nothing but EA sports titles, I found the game play on ESPN to be similar to that of Madden. A lot has to do on how you position the slider bars.
Summary: To be fair, I've been a Madden fan since 1993. I played it on my C64, Genesis, Playstation, PS2 and the xbox and gamecube versions as well(final 2 were not at my house). I hear people talk on here about 2001 and 2002 being the same so the went to Sega.
