Summary: I loved this game so much. I bought this version of Escape From Monkey Island for nostalgia alone. I was sceptic to play at first being the first console port of the series. But after playing it threw I saw that the same great game was there. The controls are great as well. Looks good and its not two disks like the PC so its that much quicker too.
Summary: I love this game! I bought it to play with my boyfriend at the time and it was great fun. It is something two people can play together too as you can discover clues together and work things out together.
Summary: This is a problem solving game with a difference. You are the character of Guybrush Threepwood who was a wannabe pirate who becomes an unlightly pirate. You start off with him coming back from his honeymoon with the beautiful and intelligant (unlike Guybrush) Elaine Marley. From there you have to solve various problems from stopping pirates who are taking over your ship to recruiting a new crew to saving the Tri-Island area and off course escaping from Monkey Island.
Summary: This is one of my all-time favorite games! It is so different from all the violent, killing games that are offered today. It is witty, funny, colourful and just all around enjoyable for people of any age. I wish they would make more games like this!

It's thought provoking and really challenging and i'm sure anyone who plays it will enjoy it. Without giving too much away the main character ...
Pros: Depth, witty and great to play .
Cons: You could lose your social life if you get too involved ;)
Excerpt: "...click games then you'll love escape from Monkey Island. You play the role of Guybrush Threepwood who has to piece together the ultimate insult before it falls into the wrong hands, in order to save the future of Melee Island and his wife the Governor. It took me months to complete this game (but this may have something to do with the fact my PS2 froze and everytime I loaded my saved game it froze at exactly the same place which ment I had to ...
Summary: I was bought this version of Escape for the Christmas that PS2 came out, and I absolutely loved the whole way you go about playing and the way the puzzles make you think in a certain "Guybrushesque" style. So I set about playing the others in the series (thankfully finding out a friend owned the first 2 and was also a devotee), and am now a devoted fan. Some people might find it a little difficult to get in to, but once you've got the mindset it's a great game!
