Summary: I recently watched a tv prog, on video games and this was in the top 30 id never heard of it but it came across a bit different from the norm.although it was first created for a bbc computer back in the 80's.Trawled through Amazon to discover it was also made later on for the Playstation 2.it was only a couple of pounds so bought it.Although grahics are decent and story line is funny and unique I couldn't get to grips with it or progress more than a couple of minutes...
The worst Monkey Island game is still a great game...

Summary: My personal favourite is 'Curse of Monkey Island' followed by 'Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge' 'Tales of Monkey Island' and 'The Secret of Monkey Island' - this game comes in fifth place as the conversion to 3d was a step in the wrong direction but was all the rage at the time. There are still some great lines like 'That's the second biggest monkey head I've ever seen!', although the Monkey Kombat was not enjoyable and dragged the game down for me.
Summary: I love this game! I bought it to play with my boyfriend at the time and it was great fun. It is something two people can play together too as you can discover clues together and work things out together.
Summary: After playing curse of monkey island on PC (a fantastic game) I was keen to see what the playstation game was like, but this is terrible - the graphics are shoddy and the game play is near impossible to get your head around. I spent nearly half an hour doing the same thing over and over because I couldn't work out what to do next - take my advise - ditch this for the original PC game.
Summary: This is easily the most annoying and pointless game I've ever made the mistake of buying. It gets nothing right; terrible graphics, boring and unimaginative gameplay, rubbish voice acting and some of the lamest attempts at humour I've ever heard.
Summary: This is a problem solving game with a difference. You are the character of Guybrush Threepwood who was a wannabe pirate who becomes an unlightly pirate. You start off with him coming back from his honeymoon with the beautiful and intelligant (unlike Guybrush) Elaine Marley. From there you have to solve various problems from stopping pirates who are taking over your ship to recruiting a new crew to saving the Tri-Island area and off course escaping from Monkey Island.
