Good console flight sim

Summary: Nerd alert - this is about as near to a flight sim as you are ever likely to see on the old skool PS2. Having racked up many years of playing flight sims over a considerable amount of years, this fares well in the arena it pitches itself and gives a rounded flight sim experience.
Summary: This game completely blows away ace combat 4 and 5. The graphics are excellent, although not quite as good as in the ace combat series. The flight models and avionics are spectaclur and the cockpit graphics are amazing.
The best attempt PS2 have at a proper sim fighter game

Summary: I played for many hours in my youth a game not too dissimilar to this called F/A 18 Interceptor back in the hay days of Amiga 500s. Since then I have progressed to consoles rather than PCs as have always been put off by the huge array of controls PC sim games tend to have.
Summary: Having played a few flight sims on the PC, this is a pretty good effort on the PS2 (which was completely unexpected). The landscape detail is quite poor below 200ft, but above this is glorious to say the least! The various landscapes available are varied and all look fab.
Summary: Energy Airforce: Aim Strike! sees players take on the role of the pilot and not the plane in a breathtaking air combat simulator developed in conjunction with aerospace industry giant Lockheed-Martin and several air force self defense divisions.
