Great game but my one had glitches

Ms. S. E. De Freitas "here and there", amazon.co.uk
23 March 2010
  • Summary: This has to be one of the most memorable games I've ever played, there's a lot to like about it including story, graphics and atmosphere as well as music. The gameplay is relaxing but does have it's upbeat moments during boss battles not to mention being chased by a giant electric eel at one point.

Ecco lives on!

Owen Harris "The ultimate sci-fi doggy", amazon.co.uk
11 January 2004
  • Summary: For those of you who loved the original Ecco games (I've got all 3 for the Sega Mega Drive), then you'll love this fourth installment. If you've never swam with the time-travelling, fish munching finned one before, then you're in for a treat.

Incredible game

Silas, amazon.co.uk
10 December 2003
  • Summary: Even though the graphics are utterly amazing, with incredible detail, especially on Ecco, there are quite a few glitches which are seen more often than not when artwork like this is being used.

Peaceful? Have you played the whole game?

Silas, amazon.co.uk
12 September 2002
  • Summary: This game is an absolute tour de force. I think the reviewers who damned it as not exciting enough have not played more than the first few screens, as there are certain sections which provide all the action that you could wish for.

Beautiful Scenery & Graphics

"tiger588", amazon.co.uk
27 March 2002
  • Summary: I think the graphics are excellent in Ecco, especially the way the water reflects on Ecco and the sea bed. The dolphin movements are very realistic and mastered really well. A nice, pleasant and peaceful game.

Slow and peaceful

"tiger588", amazon.co.uk
23 February 2002
  • Summary: Personally I think this game is a bit slow moving. Like most platformers it is good vs evil replacing bandicoots and people for this time a dolphin. It has good points as well though, the graphics are very good and realistic and ecco is cute and looks and moves like a real dolphin.
