Summary: I thought that the graphics could`ve been better. But other than that it was awesome. I mean the edit mode was alot better than DW4. The musou`s were alot better. And cooler. I think this was. Like I said before awesome. I meanDW6 was good but they lied about swimming. They took away alot of good characters. But for DW5 Empires they added characters that were very minor in DW4 and so on. But other than the graphics this was an all out 10 for me.
Summary: I have owned and sold bought traded etc every dynasty warrrior game there is! however this one i had to get back! it truly is the best one! sadly Dynasty Warriors 6 had amazing graphics but honestly Lu Bu like to me is the Fav of all the characters so when they took hes Legendary Halberd away it tore me apart! but 5 didnt do that the music is great the fighting is amazing as for Empires i had to get it the very next day! i saw it on here!
Summary: i have collected many dynasty warriors games. the first was dynasty warriors 3 xtreme legends. with limited character selection and even more limited story modes. Then i quickly moved to dynasty warriors 4. this game was better than the third, but it was lacking at certain things. The graphics were like they have always been. very good for a game with so much memory already stored. The customization of the 4th installment to the series was lacking.
Summary: I orignally got Empires 4 and quickly moved to 5. Compared to 4, 5 is much deeper, and plays more into characters and making the right moves at the right time rather than Empires 4 which is basiclly a game of going out and beating things up. If you played the orignal, then you'll know everything about this game almost instantly. The trick: The game is much thougher then you'd expect.
Summary: I would recommend this game highly to all those interested in Koei's games. I myself started on Koei's Dynasty Warriors 3 as part of a Demo Disc, I love the characters, the character development, usage capability and not to mention the hours of fun and historical implementation of the Three Kingdoms Era in Dynasty Warriors and the Warring States Period in Samurai Warriors.
Summary: As always with amazon I had an early delivery-Im always impressed by that. The game itself was ofcourse flawless and brand new essentially. The gameplay is awesome and its a huge step up from dynasty warrirors 4 empires and it adds alot to dynasty warriors 5 becuase of the various people you can play as-not to mention the obvious fun of building an empire and taking all of china. Id reccomend it to literally anyone who already has dynasty warriors 5.
Summary: This game is great. There are lots of characters, custom characters you can make yourself, revolutionary scenarios which seem more like a turn-based strategy game and lots of control of your empire. There are a few minor drawbacks: If you're on a large map and don't have a horse, it takes a long time to travel around. Some missions or maps can be extremely hard if you're not prepared enough. Some scenarios are brutal and have you fighting against 3-5 armies at once.
