Summary: Title pretty much says it all. A fantastic and engrossing game that is, for the PS2, very good in terms of graphics. Some of the physics are slighty poor but that is not much of an issue as the game is so good. Good split-screen mode, great single player 'campaign mode', a large range of vehicles and a variety of tracks. I would advise anyone who enjoys racing games to purchase this game, I honestly believe it is that good.
Summary: this game is class but they should make a tarmack track on it and put some more cars in but make the track oval. i think it would be good if they made a game similler to this but the same as the uk shourt circit oval racing with2lt hot rods and bangers and thigs and they should make a second one of these games but update yours sencerly steph
Summary: A well designed game with a vast range of challenges. The graphics are excellent, with the cars looking really good as they get bashed up, with doors and wheels flying off here and there. I found the pure destruction challenges the most amusing, where you just smash into everyone you can - it's mayhem! Most impressive of all is the physics of the way the cars behave on impact, and the way the drivers (clearly visible) are rocked about as they get hit.
Summary: This game is a blast. An amazing physics/damage model and some great handling place it in more banger racing sim territory than the equally good Flat Out 1&2, which tend more towards insanity than this does. A funny race announcer and plenty of challenges make gameplay happily varied, and you just know that even when you've completed the game you're going to keep coming back for more. Fabulous.
Summary: Driven to Destruction is really good fun. The best time to play it is when your really bored, but you want to play on your video game system. Somehow it just cheers you up. It's really fun racing, and, at the same time, destroying cars!I would reccommend it.
Summary: I bought this game out of curiosity and was genuinely surprised as it surpassed my expectations and then went way beyond. Very similar to the Destruction Derby series, this game takes the basic premise and puts many different spins on it. You can upgrade, overhaul, buy and sell all different cars as you race around different event nights trying to become #1 in the league. There are many different types of races during a night.
Summary: Unlike most games i had for PS2, I didn`t get bored of playing this one even after completing it some 30 times! The cars manouver and damage very realistically, and you get a story-line type game. Wins = money, and once you get to be top of the tree, you can go back down and do it all again! GREAT!! The only 4 problems were: 1] If you slam into a wall at 100 MPH, it barely moves your car. 2] The harder you hit your opponent, the less damage you take.
