Reviews and Problems with Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Showing 1-3 of 3

Summary: This could have been my best ps2. It has game tight controls, fast action packed fighting, and items with actual effects on the characters abilities. But the thing that ruined it for me is those loading screens take around 5-8 minutes to load or would frequently just freeze. Due to this the battle against garlic.jr freezes every-time he powers up. Conclusion: when it does work this game is a blast ,but frequently freezes too much to be enjoyable.
Summary: I'm going to be straight here. I love Dragonball Z always and forever a huge fan, including the fighting games. But this to me was not my type at all. I started out playing the classic side view dbz games like budokai and budokai 2 which I loved (aside from some stale aspects), because the fighting was great. I decided to upgrade to Tenkaichi 3 with this broad range of characters. Unfortunately that's the only thing I liked about this game.
Summary: Following on from the massively popular TV cartoon, the Dragon Ball Z franchise has taken over, producing: games, merchandise and even clothes. I would like to say this game is as good as the series, but it really isn't - think of this game as Tekken but with the ability to fly. You can play as a huge variety of characters and of course there are unlockables, generally speaking the graphics and characters are pretty good and fun to use.
