Excerpt: In a very novel, unique first-time idea for a game, A Dog’s Life takes you into the eyes of a dog named Jake as he has an important mission to accomplish while doing lots of mini-missions and everyday dog tasks along the way in the game which leaves you thinking ‘that sounds like a good idea, why hasn’t anyone thought of it before?
Pros: Good Fun, Nice Idea, Unique
Cons: Gameplay/Controls could definetly be improved
Excerpt: What a dog awful game. I truly felt, after just a couple of hours gameplay, like i have been cheated out of the money i had spent on the game. . Fair dues, the game is not catered for the more experienced gamer, but you still expect some type of value for money. level after level of boring, repetitive gameplay, lackluster graphics, and the unbeleivabley bad 'smell vision'. The one thing this game has going for it is the realistic(ish) movement of the dogs.
Pros: The realistic movement of the dogs
Cons: Way too many to mention . . . Boring levels, uninspired graphics .
Excerpt: Jake and Daisy are farm dogs in . When Daisy is kidnapped by a pair of evil dognappers Jake sets off to find her, venturing out from the farm through a resort, a small town and finally the big city. On the way of course, he can always indulge his love of bones... Its a fairly thin plot, but the gameplay is innovative, the characters simple but amusing and the puzzles different enough to hold player's interest.
Excerpt: Firstly, there is no 'A' in the title it is just Dog's Life. Dog's Life is obviously a game more targeted for kids, but older gamers may find it entertaining. I am 25 years old and I enjoy it. I find it helps me to relax because it is so simple. BACKGROUND / STORYLINE ======================== The games storyline is straightforward . There is not much to Dog's Life, but what there is I find is entertaining enough.
Excerpt: Have you ever wanted to be a dog? I don't mean in the sense of most platform games, where you become all manner of creatures which behave like humans, I mean like a proper dog? Begging for food? Pooing on the pavement? Chasing pigeons? It's all in a day's work for Jake, the hero of 'Dog's Life'. WHAT SORT OF GAME IS IT? Dog's Life (for some reason, there is no 'a' at the start) is a totally unique game aimed at children.
Excerpt: The Game ------------- In ‘Dog’s Life’ you are a mixed breed of dog that is on the trail of your best friend who was stolen by a dognapper. That is the entire plot. There are movies to remind you of this plot, but you basically just travel along through the different levels trying to gain more Bones to make it past the security dog. Your character is basically on its own with no real time limit. There are some clues along the way on what to do, but they are mostly vague.
Excerpt: Back to hte simple days when all you had to worry about was food, sleep, interesting smells and getting treats 4 tricks?? Hang on thats the simple life of a dog. This game puts you in the perspective of a dog and you get up to all kinds of mischief. My initial when hearing about this game was 'WOT!!' but once i actually sat down and played on the game i was quite surprised to find that it ain't half bad. You can do tricks such as standing on 2 legs, having a poo...
Excerpt: I brought this game last year , and the first level i thought was great because you could be different dogs , scare the chickens , run and jump around , bark and learn new tricks etc . But when i got on to different levels it all seemed the same to do ... like talk to people and do some jobs like finding items etc and more and well it got a bit boring when i got to the 7th level ....
