Summary: I got this a few years ago, I didn't really want it but I wanted to give it a try so I did. It was ok but I thing they should have cut some of the stuff out. If this were a rated E or E10 game I think it would be more popular. Little kids would enjoy this better than teens. But it was ok, if you like action games like mario you might just enjoy this....
Excerpt: "In a very novel, unique first-time idea for a game, A Dog’s Life takes you into the eyes of a dog named Jake as he has an important mission to accomplish while doing lots of mini-missions and everyday dog tasks along the way in the game which leaves you thinking ‘that sounds like a good idea, why hasn’t anyone thought of it before?’ The story begins when Jake’s dog pal is bundled into a truck and taken away by some dog catchers and you must set-out ...
Pros: Good Fun, Nice Idea, Unique
Cons: Gameplay/Controls could definetly be improved
Excerpt: "Back to hte simple days when all you had to worry about was food, sleep, interesting smells and getting treats 4 tricks?? Hang on thats the simple life of a dog. This game puts you in the perspective of a dog and you get up to all kinds of mischief. My initial when hearing about this game was 'WOT!!' but once i actually sat down and played on the game i was quite surprised to find that it ain't half bad. You can do tricks such as standing on 2 ...
Summary: I bought this game because I had seen alot of great reviews about it. Sadly when I came to play it I found it very repetetive, every mission is based on fetching something for someone, and all the mini games are the same but varied a little. I completed this game within two days of playing (not for the whole 48 hours obviously) and I wish it had lasted longer and one of the main goals wasn't just to collect bones.
Summary: This game looked great in the shop and I wanted it so much. When I got it for Christmas I played on Boxing Day and thought it was absolutely amazing for about 1 day. Lets just say barking, jumping and fouling the streets gets REALLY boring after a while. I finally collected enough bones to get out of the countryside and into the ski slopes but now I have to get 50 bones just to get out of the damn snow! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! DONT WASTE 30 QUID ON THIS GAME.
Summary: the game when i first opened it looked good but when i put it on the ps2 it looked a bit dimb. all there was, was a dog and some buttons to make him jump, dig and pull things. then it took me about 5hrs playing to figure out how to get to the ski slope. the graphics could have been a lot better. it took forever to get 40bones goodness nos how long it would take to get 99 as the manual says you can do. still pritty good.

Summary: Some great ideas in this with the smellovision being a real laugh the first few times. The graphics are ok but some of the dogs are hard to see as they are a blob on the screen. You will show your mates this and everyone will think it is cool but the problem is that once you have 'fouled' the pavement 10 times then it becomes very repetitive and you won't be playing this in a months time. Good ideas though and nice to see someone try something different for a change.
