Excerpt: Fans had been clamouring for a sequel to Final Fantasy VII for years and Square-Enix finally delivered with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It was wonderful, but there was one key problem. rather than being the game that everyone wanted, Advent Children was actually an impressive CG film.
Conclusion: Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII is also very beautiful. How disappointing, then, to learn that the entertainment factor is only mild. Don’t get me wrong...DoC is by no means a poor game. It’s just not a Final Fantasy-quality game. It was already an absolutely decent product when it came out in Japan the better part of a year ago, and S-E deserves a lot of credit for bringing it more in line with international standard via an extensive refurbish.
Excerpt: Final Fantasy VII is considered to be the first title to really bring RPGs into the mainstream. Its cinematic approach, combined with a well-conceived story, led it straight into many an RPGFan's heart. Almost ten years later, Square Enix is providing spin-offs of this classic PSOne RPG. The first to reach the shores, the computer animated film Advent Children, was well recieved by fans. Will Dirge of Cerberus ~Final Fantasy VII~ be given the same reception in the US?
Dirge of Cerberus - Final Fantasy VII (PS2) Review
31 December 2007
Summary: Does DIRGE of CERBERUS make the best use of its potential? No. It’s fun in places, but it never quite gels as either a third-person action title or a first person shooter. It makes entertaining use of familiar places and characters, and expanding on back-story nearly hinted at. But all that potential is buried under clunky cameras, uneven pacing, and targeting issues, leaving you with the sense that it could have been so much more.
Summary: Dirge of Cerberus tells the interesting story of a memorable video game character, but beyond that it's nothing more than a very generic shooter.
Pros: Dozens of extra missions to play after you beat the game, The story provides an interesting look at the origins of one of the secret characters from the original game, Great prerendered cutscenes
Cons: The camera can be extremely awkward and frustrating in close quarters, Frequent cutscenes and load times drag down the pace of the game, Bland, rigidly linear level design, Paltry weapon selection and unexciting gunplay
Excerpt: Let’s set the stage of E3 2006. Square Enix had camped out at a prime piece of land at the convention to show off their latest wares. But while they were yet willing to commit to even a taste of Final Fantasy XIII (though they did have a bunch of Final Fantasy XI & XII stuff to treat you to, PS by now you know Final Fantasy XII should be out by Halloween… because apparently the only one who deserves a treat is the game store owners since you‘ll be forking over $50
Conclusion: No fim das conta É um jogo bem divertido e com muita ação. As unicas coisas que realmente me fizeram triste nesse jo foram:1- o meu CD travar assim que eu venso o chefe final. 2-o jogo ser tão curto.
