Summary: Story: Despite the title of this game being "Digimon World: Data Squad" the story doesn't follow the one in the anime. This is a case where the original Japanese title "Digimon Savers: Another Mission" would make more sense. The story in this game is re-imagining of the plot.
Summary: The game is great for the beginning gamer who loves turn based RPGs. I feel that the story line was awesome and all of the unlock-able extras were plainly put cool, but unfortunately when it comes to graphics and difficulty very sad. Most of the moves were nothing more than repeats animations regardless of which Digimon you used and most of the Digimon evolutions were repeats colored differently; very disappointing.
Summary: This game is maybe better for E players. It's not violent and gives off the same old Digimon feel, however it could be so much better. At it's current price, $**, it is really worth it for a boy that still likes Pokemon. There's not much to say but it is definitely a good game for any Digimon fan, and should be bought for one. The battles are fun, the levels are action packed and the game is solid.
