Summary: Now I am not going to jump on the Devil May Cry 2 sucks wagon like everyone I know does to me it was just average. The main reason I think this game gets so much slack is just the expectations the first one set. Now to put that in perspective for me at least the first Devil May Cry was the most enjoyable experience I have had in gaming since Final Fantasy 7 yeah it was that good.
Summary: Not my favorite in the series. If you played 1,I would still recommend it, just to tie up some loose ends.If you follow the storyline. Controls don't feel as tight as the first, graphics are acceptable for last generation games, the voice talent was cheese. But so was the voice talent in the earlier RE games...like a bad B movie.(Guilty pleasure,I like bad B-movies)Play it though,It gets better with age.Like cheese.
Summary: This game is almost nothing like the original, other than the sound. Devil may cry 2 is a much more combo heavy game. It doesn't keep the same feel as the original, but thats not really a bad thing. Don't come into this game thinking its going to be a better DMC, it's a different action type than the first. Comparing this too much will make you dislike this game. It really does have good qualities; Lots of attacks, secret items, clever puzzles.
Summary: This game was underrated by many ways: Bad camera angles, not much connection to the previous game, no Trish, very linear and random plot, and yeah, many things... but I'm not THAT bothered with the game, because face it, Dante can now do more moves and shoot multiple targets at once, and you play a new character named, Lucia(who happens to be the replacement of Trish).
Summary: I luv the fact that its a fighting game where you get to do all types of moves and jumping off the wall. One thing that I dislike about it is that fact that you kinda have to figure out every mission for you self, it barely gives you any clues to where you have to go next or what you have to do next, which is a little fustrating at times but I get over it because its a fun game..
Summary: DMC = Devil May Cry DMC 2 is not as bad as most people think. Yes, Dante isn't his usual trash talking demon hunter but think about all he's been though (I won't say too much for those of you who have NOT played DMC 1 or DMC 3). It takes place several years in the future and he can't be a bratty 20 something forever (Not that I'm complaining). Anyways some of the enemies are a pain because they are relentless and gang up on you but that's how it should be.
Summary: definitly a slightly above average game, but it should be played to get to the 3rd installment, out now, and the amazing-looking one, soon to hit the ps3. A very solid game with amazing combos.
Summary: DMC 2 was said to be a terrible game but I think is great! The graphics were a little out dated but still you could tell the bad dudes from the walls. The controls buged the crap out of me but I got used to them the health meater on the bad dudes was the greatest emprovement from DMC 1. Lastly I liked to be able to swich weapons on the go.
Summary: I think Devil May Cry 2 is a good game to play if you like the whole Dark Knight kind of thing. To me it could have been better as far as the limitations on where you can go it should have been free based.
