Summary: This game was underrated by many ways: Bad camera angles, not much connection to the previous game, no Trish, very linear and random plot, and yeah, many things... but I'm not THAT bothered with the game, because face it, Dante can now do more moves and shoot multiple targets at once, and you play a new character named, Lucia(who happens to be the replacement of Trish).
Summary: I luv the fact that its a fighting game where you get to do all types of moves and jumping off the wall. One thing that I dislike about it is that fact that you kinda have to figure out every mission for you self, it barely gives you any clues to where you have to go next or what you have to do next, which is a little fustrating at times but I get over it because its a fun game..
Summary: DMC = Devil May Cry DMC 2 is not as bad as most people think. Yes, Dante isn't his usual trash talking demon hunter but think about all he's been though (I won't say too much for those of you who have NOT played DMC 1 or DMC 3). It takes place several years in the future and he can't be a bratty 20 something forever (Not that I'm complaining). Anyways some of the enemies are a pain because they are relentless and gang up on you but that's how it should be.
Summary: definitly a slightly above average game, but it should be played to get to the 3rd installment, out now, and the amazing-looking one, soon to hit the ps3. A very solid game with amazing combos.
Summary: DMC 2 was said to be a terrible game but I think is great! The graphics were a little out dated but still you could tell the bad dudes from the walls. The controls buged the crap out of me but I got used to them the health meater on the bad dudes was the greatest emprovement from DMC 1. Lastly I liked to be able to swich weapons on the go.
Summary: I think Devil May Cry 2 is a good game to play if you like the whole Dark Knight kind of thing. To me it could have been better as far as the limitations on where you can go it should have been free based.
Summary: This game kicks serious ass... Dante and his new hoe..i mean "partner" Lucia make a really good team. The fact that u can play as both is tite. The only reason i didnt give this a 5 was because...it really isn't as challenging as the first one.
Summary: The repetitive shooting gets old. Still, good graphics and gothic setting. The controls are a little annoying. They auto-aim, but on one level, you had to find and strike all of these globes within a few minutes, as the building you're in brinks on destruction. Monsters pour in from every crevice, and with auto-aiming you run towards a globe you just found, press X to strike it (which takes several hits to count), but Dante or Lucia swings around towards the monster...
