Summary: I love the Devil May Cry series but I do not like this version of the game. The graphics are poor and Dante is completely different in this game. His personality is nothing like it was in games 1 and 3. I was too disappointed to continue playing this game.
Summary: I played this game at my cousin's house and let me just say that it is horrible. Compared to Devil May Cry 1 this game doesn't even compete. This game has an easier difficulty which is so obvious a blind man can see it. The graphics are pretty average nothing too bad but all the scenery in the game looks depressing. The gameplay is where this game is poor at.
Summary: I liked the game because it was the 2nd game of the series, and I need it for my collection. That's why I bought it. Plus the seller had it for cheap. Over all on the game itself, it isn't the greatest DMC game out there.
Summary: DMC 2 was not all that great, it was just something for me to do if i was bored and had nothing better to do. There are playable characters. you obviously start out with Dante on disck 1. However, Dante does not do alot of dialouge in this game. All i could ever remember doing was just going from mission to mission, doing all these senseless weird things.
Summary: There's nothing in this game that I love. The only reason I bought it is because I am a fan of the Devil May Cry series. The combat system makes it ridiculously difficult to pull off any good combos. In the first game, by the end of the first play through you could max out all your weapons. It took me three play throughs with Dante and four with Lucia in this game. From one upgrade to the next there seems to be no noticeable change in the strength of the weapons.
Summary: After the great DMC original they come out with a sequal that you can only say "man improvement's on the first one how could they go wrong?" Well they did. They focused way to much on detail and just ruined the already fun and easy to grasp gameplay. The control's are easy to learn but you can almost never completly master. Though the combat controll's are solid and walking on wall's and doing back flips off of wall's ect are welcome move's.
Summary: Devil May Cry was a classic with great gameplay and had lots of style...This...doesn't! I will make this a short review... The game had good visuals like the original but was lacking on good story and was waaaaaaay too short and too easy. Devil May Cry was easy to learn and was a bit of a challenge but this was just complete bull.. Too easy and waaaaay too short. This is nothing like Devil May Cry 1. Overall I have to give this..
Summary: Let's be honest. Judging by the trailers and magazine ads, the sequel to the PlayStation 2 smash hit, Devil May Cry, it looked very cool. And it was the day I got it and the strategy guide. Wall flipping and multi-directional shooting was very fun and easy to pull off. Unfortunately, it wore off soon enough and after a few months( and beating the superior first one on both difficulties ), I realized how shallow and disappointing DMC2 was.
Summary: Major fan of DMC 1, and was really excited to get this game with a friend, we would each pay twenty dollors, i was overjoyed when i saw it was now only twenty, i should have been suspicious... Actual review - just read this if you want to What made DMC 1 was Dant'es cool whoopa** moves, i don't give a s*** dioluge, and the coolet demon hunter around, with an awsome storyline t boot, if tis was the first game it would have rocked, but it unfortunatley followed the first...
