Summary: This is the way Capcom portayed when making this game, just careless. Okay, I bought the Devil May Cry Anniversary Collection and let me start off by saying, I had previously, rented Devil May Cry 3, and that game was beyond awesome! Now for the review about the game.
Summary: After the great DMC original they come out with a sequal that you can only say "man improvement's on the first one how could they go wrong?" Well they did. They focused way to much on detail and just ruined the already fun and easy to grasp gameplay.
Summary: Devil May Cry was a classic with great gameplay and had lots of style...This...doesn't! I will make this a short review... The game had good visuals like the original but was lacking on good story and was waaaaaaay too short and too easy.
Summary: Let's be honest. Judging by the trailers and magazine ads, the sequel to the PlayStation 2 smash hit, Devil May Cry, it looked very cool. And it was the day I got it and the strategy guide. Wall flipping and multi-directional shooting was very fun and easy to pull off.
Summary: Major fan of DMC 1, and was really excited to get this game with a friend, we would each pay twenty dollors, i was overjoyed when i saw it was now only twenty, i should have been suspicious...
Summary: When the first devil may cry was released, the public was blown away. Dante was cool in everyway, he had bad ass moves, even more bad ass weapons, and just new how to give the baddies a hard time. Devil May Cry 2 was looking to be the breakaway hit that surpassed the first in everyway.
Summary: I bought this game at the same time I bought the original DMC. I started playing through the first one and was completely blown away by the nonstop action. I hadn't started on the second one until I beat the first one. Then when I popped in the second one, my jaw dropped in disbelief!
Summary: This is the sequel to one of the best games of all time. Unfortunately, there are so many problems in the execution of the title that it ends up being... boring. In its predecessor, every enemy, item and weapon had unique style and fit into the overall theme of the game.
Summary: At one point in Devil May Cry 2, Dante tells another character, "Devils never cry..." However, if Dante laid the money down to buy this game, The "coolest character ever made" (said Playstation Magazine) might actually cry.
Summary: I didn't play the original Devil May Cry, but I heard a lot of good things about it so I picked up the sequel. I thought the fact that the box and manual played up the whole "Dante's cool as hell, and the new girl is sexy and dangerous" so much was funny. The game is tedious.
