Summary: I chose the 5 star rating as my bro whom plays it greatly enjoys this game. Plus when i orderred this item I was shown that there is a version 2, which my bro did not think had been made. So i ordered both games.. to the great enjoyment from my bro when this came in.. as i had not told him about the version 2 also ordered. *grin*. To top off his joy.. I ordered this item at 2pm central time, chose 2nd day shipping as bro "really likes that game".
Summary: "Dead to Rights" is the kind of non-stop action game that will remind you why you play console games in the first place. Though the game's premise, style, and source of inspiration are easy to compare to "Max Payne," the games themselves are readily distinguishable from one another, and both are equally as worthy of your gaming attentions.
Summary: Don't know how I ever let myself sell this game, but I'm getting another copy asap! This game is the right mix of violence and fun. Choc-full of drama, action and analytical, brain-squeezing mini-games (not too easy...just challenging enough to lose a couple of times before you get the hang of it and pass it! Whew!) Actually found myself doing a touchdown dance after a few of the stages.
Summary: I played this game at my cousins and was skeptical at first but once I played it! Wow! It was an awesome, awesome game. You play as Jack Slate and his K-9 buddy Shadow, who are called to a shootout but then it turns from a routine bust to a blown out adventure of greed, power and corruption. There are so many weapons like M60 machine guns, semi-automatics, double-barrel shot guns and beyond.
Summary: I've never really felt the minigames were a detriment to the game itself but I can see the point about them disrupting the flow of the action. I think in most cases though they really helped the story along and that's a big plus for this game. I really appreciate when games care about the story and this one really does with Chris Bruno (Sheriff Bannerman on USA's "The Dead Zone") doing a hell of a job narrating the story as Jack Slate.
Summary: I won't write a lengthy review, as many others on here have said enough. However, I would like to inject my own thoughts, as I enjoyed this game immensely. Sure, It may be a Max Payne spinoff, ripoff,or whatever you may label it, but it does have some unique qualities of it's own. I played Max payne one and two, and both games have some striking similarities.
Summary: This game is one of the best I ever played. This game tells the story about a bad ass K-9 police officer named Jack Slate avenging his father's death and kicking any/everyone's ass that gets in his way. The graphics are great, the weapons are great and this is a hit. The attitude, fun and aggressiveness of the game makes it one of a kind. I give this game 10/10.
Summary: I'm a huge fan of vigilante games like this. This and Max Payne are cool games where you are on one man vigilante missions, and Dead to rights is much better. In this one you rescue people and use various guns and bazookas and grenades and such, plus your player is skilled really well in hand to hand combat. There's Great visual effects and scenery here.
