    Tecmo's Dead or Alive fighter debut on the PS oh, around the time Tekken 3 was released on the console. DOA was unique for its reversal system and mostly known for its busty babes. Underneath that lied an excellent brawler that was ready to take on Tekken 3 for the fighting crown. Tecmo's succession was great, they developed a smooth playing game, that had a lot going for it.     was released on the Playstation around 3 years ago now and came under some criticism for the "bounciness" of a specific part(s) of the female anatomy. Even with this "effect" the game was brilliant in its own right and sold enough copies for Tecmo to decide to develop a sequel on both the Dreamcast and Playstation 2. The Dreamcast version was released here in mid August while the Playstation 2 version was released in mid-December. Read more

    It can be hard to pick a PlayStation 2 title at times with so many on the market however, DOA Hardcore is a must have if your a fan of great fighters. The Hardcore release is a complete edition featuring many changes when compared to the older editions. * New artworks have been added when compared to the old update. * The player history files have been enhanced and now include statistics on how often the player used each character and tag battle pairing.     This is a great Beat em up game, it is like Tekken, but I think it is better, it dont have the powder... This game is about a story of revenge, to make their destiny come true. To make all means of fighting to go away. There are many characters, and 2 to unlock, I have only Unlocked one, but I know what the other one was... Later in the review I will tell youhow to get them. Ill also give info about the characters and loads of other stuff as well. Read more

    "I Would Not Be Exaggerating If I Said That Dead Or Alive 2 Has Become A Religion In My Household! It Is Literally The Most Addictive Game I Have Ever Played. To Give You An Idea, On The Game Timer Which Measures How Many Hours Youve Been Playing The Game For My Flatmate And I Have Currently Clocked Up 512 Hours Of Play. Yes This Is Somewhat Sad But Can You Really Blame Me? I Mean The Graphics Are Astounding, The Gameplay Is Highly Addictive. Read more

    Don't be fooled by the underdressed women that hint towards a tacky game that uses sex appeal to sell. Behind it all is actually a solid fighting game, worthy of any avid beat 'em up fans collection. For the time, it featured some genuinely unique ideas, the main one being the destructable arenas, allowing your characters to plummet of buildings and through church windows before carrying on your battle in an entirely new enviroment.     • Easy to pick up, interesting characters, gorgeous graphics, Hilarious final boss!
    • A few more characters wouldn't have hurt.
