Summary: I love this game and always have. I'm falling away from contemporary gaming and falling back a few generations because I feel the game play is better. I don't care much for graphics. The game arrived here just as expected, working great, and I've had no problems with it.. aside from being rusty! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys Tony Hawk Pro Skater type game play, or just enjoys biking games in general.
Summary: Yes, I am biased from my childhood but this game is seriously awesome. If you ever wanted to pull back flips and 360s on a trick bike but didn't want to break your skull open, here's your chance! Great soundtrack as well, Sublime, RATM, Blue Oyster Cult, Ozzie, and much more. Buyer Beware: You may become a DM2 addicted.
Summary: Let me start by saying, this game is solid on all levels, from playability, controls, fun, soundtrack, replayability, etc... Now the thing that stood out to me and my friends alike, were the bailouts. It makes me laugh every single time when your 20 ft in the air in mid flip and you bail and your guy just goes sompletly limp as if he were dead.
great game...well except for the inappropriate music

Summary: Dave Marrina freestyle bmx 2 rocks! The graphics I give 4 a half stars,if you get to close to a wall and turn around you see a black wall. the music seems to have alot of cussing but if you go to the menu screen and go to volume you can turn it off or turn the volume one your tv down. It handles very well the controlls are very easy, there is also a large collection of characters and bikes.
Summary: Well since everyone is comparing this game to Mat Hoffmans 2 i thought i'd make a list of things which each game has which is better than the other. Dave Mirra 2: -A more tight and flexible modifier system then Mat Hoffman 2. -Better level design then Mat Hoffman 2. -Bigger levels then Mat Hoffman 2. -less violence(don't really need gore) then Mat Hoffman 2. -More space on park editor then Mat Hoffman 2. -Higher replay value then Mat Hoffman.
Summary: This game has the funniest and greatest crashes ever made. Along with them, there is a 2 Player Wipeout mode which awards you on crashes. Best crashes ever made + funniest crashes ever made = Best Game Ever Made. People who have played this know exactly what I'm talking about. Pray to god for a Dave Mirra 3 on our PS2s everyone. We definately need it.
Summary: This game has very massive levels I am surprized at how much they could fit on this non DVD PS2 cd. It has great graphics, great looking tricks, massive levels, and decent proquest mode, also has the usually track builder. Ok the problems I have with the game is its 2 player mode, it lets one player play of full screen then other goes its a odd way of doing it and anoys many. Can't beleive we used to do that back with the mario brothers ehh.
Summary: This game does have its draw backs. 1. after you crash it always sets you up in a weird posion 2. The tricks are somtimes very hard to complete to get to the next area. But in the end the pros out way the cons. the replay value is insane. I hidden charaters are hillarious. True to life signature moves. The trick modifier is very easy to use.
Summary: I was surprised that this game was good as it was. This game offers bigger levels than Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, real pros, and AWESOME graphics. I suggest buying it, or at least renting it first.
