Summary: I really didn't care for this game. The steps for this song were not as challenging as some of the other DDR games I own. I did like a lot of the songs they selected for this game, but the boring steps took away a lot of the fun.
Summary: I bought this for my kids, age 15, 10 and 4. They LOVED DDR Max 2, so I was sure they would also love DDR MAX. Not so, they hate it. Their only reason for hating it is the songs. There is no main stream familiar music on DDR MAX, and the songs are not fun for them. For the hard core DDR group, this game is a must, however. But for the rest of us that love dancing along to something familiar, skip it.
Summary: I am a huge fan of DDR. Finally, a fun video game that actually burns up some calories! You'll need to pay some extra money to get a dance pad in order to truly expose the game's potential, but it's definitely worth it. The concept of it is extremely simple, as you just hit the arrows scrolling up the screen when they're in their outlined counterparts, but once you start doing this to the beat of the lively music, you'll be moving your body in enjoyment and exercise...
Summary: I'm not the DDR freak that some of these other reviewers are, but I really enjoy DDR 5th mix, Xtra mix, and Konamix. When I bought this game, I thought it would be like Konamix, but with more cool songs. Even though it's very hard to make DDR unfun, this game leaves much to be desired. For one thing, I do miss picking a character. I realize it makes no difference really, but I still like fighting over who gets to be Rage.
Summary: It seems that even after the third release of Dance Dance Revolution here in the states, Konami of America still doesn't have a clue. After playing the arcade version and the import Japanese version of DDRMAX, I can say I am truly disappointed. So Konami has supplied us with DDRMAX for PS2, and it's the awesome new mix with great graphics and an awesome selection of 60+ songs. Right? Well yes and no.
Summary: I was really looking forward to DDR Max but just like with previous mixes released in the US, Konami left out the most popular songs yet again! I really like DDR Max (6th Mix) in the arcades. Most of my favorite songs are missing from this version. Where is Bye Bye Baby Balloon, Ghosts, www.BlondeGirl and most importantly Cowgirl? There are also a lot of repeat songs from earlier mixes.
