Summary: Starting out on Dance Dance Revolution? This is the best place to begin as it has a lot of very accommodating and welcoming steps for people who don't wanna get intimidated on the higher difficulties of most songs. I gave it 3 stars out of 5 because it won't win the hands of a seasoned DDR player and the playlist is JUST average. Not too bad. But not that great either.
Summary: I really didn't care for this game. The steps for this song were not as challenging as some of the other DDR games I own. I did like a lot of the songs they selected for this game, but the boring steps took away a lot of the fun.
Summary: I bought this game because I heard it was good exercise and my teenage son had a PS2. Not only is it great exercise for both of us, but it is actually fun. This is the first of the DDR games that I have seen so I can't compare it with any others, but I suspect they are equally good. The music is not from my generation, but has a good beat to dance to and I get so involved in trying to follow the steps that I don't really notice.
Summary: My son wanted this for Christmas as he has most of the other DDR games but not this original...he has been playing everyday since. He told me there are a lot of challenging dances that he likes to do.
Summary: Coming from a beginner's point of view, this game can be little overwhelming at first. It's a GREAT workout, however my daughters and I would HIGHLY recommend if you have never done DDR before, you should go through the Lesson Mode before trying the Gaming Mode, otherwise you'll be completely lost. Once you have mastered the Lesson Mode, doing the Games is FUN! This game keeps kids' interest, yet is challenging for adults as well.
