Summary: I love this game. It is so much fun, addictive and a great workout as well! I admit, it can be frustrating at the beginning but it's surprising how fast you can catch on. It's all about coordination. I suggest buying two mats to have a friend to dance with. It gets to be competitive. Also, one suggestion to stop the mat from moving around is to add veclo on the bottom of the mat if you have carpet flooring.
Summary: The mat is the original Konami one, and is of very good quality (specialy considering the price of the bundle versus the standalone game). The whole family loves DDR, so we went and baught a second mat.
Summary: Don't let the word 'bundle' mislead you, like it did us. I researched online before purchasing this item for my daughter (sorely lacking a description in the Amazon store), and from my read of the description on the Konami web site at the time, it appeared to me that an EyeToy camera was included. It is NOT. Even enlarging the image in the store, you can't read the 'Sold Separately' fineprint in the corner. The only things included are the game and dance mat.
Summary: This version doesn't come with a pad, but quite frankly, I would advise getting it separately anyhow. This is a GREAT change from video games where you sit on your backside, though I dearly love those as well. You can do 'workout mode', where you input your weight and it will tell you approximately how many calories you burned, and it IS based on your actual steps. Dance Master mode is pretty intriguing.
