It's like mainlining Engrish

  • Summary: I'm honestly not sure why I like this game. The dialogue is awful, and probably was awful even before it was haphazardly translated into Eng(l/r)ish. The character portraits are spit-take-inducing. The solo quest mode has a plot that's mainly remarkable for its total lack of... a convincing plot. To quote a friend: "God, it's so horrible... WAIT. Why have I been playing this all day?!" It's kind of like Candyland crossed with Magic: The Gathering on a console.

Not for Me

Ben, Amazon

  • Summary: This game is best described as Magic the Gathering meets Monopoly meets classic Japanese RPG. With a combo like that, how could one not like this game? But as soon as I started playing, I found myself asking "just what in the heck is going on here." It wasn't too long before I grasped the basic general jist of it, but I still found myself fumbling through how it was played.
